Doctor Who Fan Audio Series: Volume 2
Project Overview
Satellite Five Productions are a group of fans working on a Doctor Who Audio Series. This casting call is for Series 1, Volume 2 - the final three episodes in our first series. For this casting call we're looking to cast a series of one-off characters, just appearing in a single episode. All roles will be in the English language, although we're looking for a range of accents. Voice Actors will be credited in the voiceover of each episode, as well as in the YouTube video description.
The deadline for these auditions are Feb 17. There's no intention to change this. We aim to inform successful voice actors as soon as possible. Deadlines for recording episodes will be set once all VAs are cast, although it's very likely that lines will be expected by early March.

A 22/23 year old who is freshly deserted from a whaling ship is pretty confused by the TARDIS and the fact everyone is speaking in a British accent and the murderous alien, though copes fairly well; grew up well-to-do, but the past few years have been ones of weird jobs and sometimes scraping to survive; absolutely loves Nuku Hiva, but also knows that no one will believe him in regards to anything that happened there; is able to draw parallels from the Polynesians to his own experiences and in the end is left with a better understanding of them than he thought possible
(CONFUSED) Toby? A mate? He is man; you are confusing. (NORMAL) He was fellow crew-member, very much like myself. We are not made for a full-on mutiny, but a desertion from a cruel captain running a private whaling vessel that gets distracted from its mission is more than acceptable.
Yesterday we heard what sounded like a search party and split up as we dove for cover. By the time I heard that the coast was clear, I couldn’t find him.
16yo; the middle of the siblings; is very scared of the Doctor, Sam, and Stan at first because they are strangers (like the ones in the bays), but warms up to them eventually; tries to be very serious to keep his sister calm but is super-scared himself. Is Polynesian, but the TARDIS translation microbes mean he's translated into English with an English accent.

(THROUGH TEARS) Mum, Dad. Toarani.
(TO BROTHER) No! They might help us! What other options do we have left? (TO GROUP) There were strange sounds in the woods that reminded Mum of a story Gran told her, so she went to see what it was. When she didn’t come back, Dad went, and when he didn’t come back, our brother went. We’re getting worried—we haven’t seen anyone else in days.
early/mid 20s; Stan’s shipmate with whom he deserted; a low-to-lower-middle-class man less-shocked by the world in which Stan now works; does not like Nuku Hiva nearly as much as his friend and can’t wait to leave for “civilization”; kind of into Sam and/or the Doctor, though they aren’t playing that game. Utterly slimey.
(SLIMEY, FAUX-CHARMING) My name is Toby—what’s yours?
Demon? What sort of nonsense is that? You mean the French?
20yo; the eldest of the siblings; is still very suspicious of the soldiers after the treatment he was given, but acknowledges that Stan, Sam, and the Doctor helped his siblings not-die. Polynesian, but the TARDIS translates him into English with an English accent.
