Divine Blessing

Divine Blessing

Project Overview

To save his grandfather's farm from poverty a boy travels to the big city in order to work but soon finds himself lost in a world of darkness as he is hunted down relentlessly by a group of mercenaries who seem to have powers beyond what is attainable by normal humans. Who are these people? Why do they want him? Will they stop at nothing to take him? He's just a simple farm boy, right?

Hello, my name is Ryan Beggs and Divine Blessing is the working title for the book that I am currently writing. The purpose of this project is simply to get into contact with an artist who will be willing to work with me on converting my book (purely text) into a graphic novel that will then be submitted to various visual novel companies (i.e. Dark Horse). I currently have over 240 pages of the first book written and have solid plans for the rest of the series which will consist of at least 3 books for the main arc and possibly more books consisting of side stories and lore. Payment and other similar factors will be discussed between myself and the artist over their preferred method of communication.

The art style I am looking for is something similar to Berserk or Tokyo Ghoul. The reason why I am seeking someone that can draw in a similar style is due to the fact that my story has the main character go from being a farm boy who thinks nobody should kill to becoming a crazed murderer seeking revenge so there's going to be quite a few gory scenes. Once I see you have auditioned (for lack of a better word) I will send you a message with an excerpt from my book, you simply have to draw the scene in your art style and send it to the email address that I will provide. This is so I can see if you have the style that will fit for my book. As stated in the description, I'm just looking to get into contact with an artist who will be willing to work with me at a later date to turn my book into a graphic novel. Payment and other factors will be discussed at a later date.
