Dissidia Opera Omnia Story Dub Chapter 9 (Opera's Voices) (KUJA RECAST)
Project Overview
Greetings once again G A M E R S! I am currently on the lookout for a group of voice actors to help me dub cutscenes from the mobile game Dissidia Opera Omnia! Currently, I am looking to dub the ninth chapter of the game, excluding the tutorial or battle dialogue! For now, I am focusing on dubbing the ninth chapter, but rest assured there will most likely be another casting call with more characters depending on what the chapter's cutscenes call for!
I currently have all the footage I need, the script typed out as well as all the sound effects! I am editing the full video currently and will most likely be done before the end of this casting call!
The project will be uploaded to a YouTube channel as well as shorter versions on my other social media platforms, such as Twitter!

Since many of these roles do have pre-existing canonical voices, I will not be asking for perfect impressions of other actors, but instead, you're own spin on the character! As long as the voice fits, please consider auditioning with it! Of course, if you do want to audition with an impression of the original actor, you're more than welcome to!
Do keep in mind, that no roles will be cast before the deadline, so no pressure y'all!
Of course, there are rules and requirements for this project. (Not listed in order of importance.)
1. Have a decent audio setup. At Least USB with little to no background noise.
2. Please stay committed! Since this is a large crossover game, many characters re-appear in later cutscenes! This of course, is subject to change, since getting footage is becoming harder and harder, but please keep in mind the possibility!
3. Not exactly required, but it would help if you did have some knowledge of the Final Fantasy franchise as well as the mobile game!
4. Submit your audio files in either a .wav or .mp3 format.
5. Again, I'm not asking for perfect impressions of these characters' voice actors, but please try to fit the character!
6. Have a discord. All communication will be through there and a server!
7. Do NOT slate your auditions OR do more than 3 takes per line. Please order them in ABCABC format!

Voice: Medium-low to low. Masculine, cunning, intelligent, diplomatic sounding. Despite being a villain, he has a sense of honor to him. Think characters like Ganondorf or Darth Vader.

Voice: Medium to Medium-low. Flirty, but can turn serious in a dime's drop. He's respected as a leader, but he has his moments of being controlled by his lust in more comedic settings. Regardless, he can come off as snobbish, but is a great person and commander.

"Irvine is a ladies' man who uses his loner sharpshooter persona to try to impress them. Irvine focuses his charms on Selphie Tilmitt, even helping her realize her dream of performing on-stage with a band to catch her attention. In Galbadia Garden Irvine is known for being the best marksman, to the point he's appointed as the SeeD's sharpshooter during an assassination mission. Despite his playful and suave persona, Irvine is not shallow; he has a sharp mind and cares deeply for the group's members.
Although sometimes Irvine shows to be more cautious than his comrades, he is not a coward, shown when he provides a distraction at the Desert Prison to help his friends escape, and during the Battle of the Gardens. During the sequence at Trabia Garden Irvine extrapolates on his reasons for continuing the war against the sorceress, and says he will go on fighting to honor the choices he has made." - Final Fantasy Wiki
Voice: Medium-high to Medium-low. Flirty, but can turn calculative. He can be quite jaded and nihilistic, almost being like a "cool loner" archetype, but can joke around. Think Dante from Devil May Cry.

"Geez, these guys don't give up. At least flinch or something when I shoot at you." (Frustrated, talking to himself, trying to keep a positive attitude)
"Leave the sharpshooting to me! And you can give me a kiss if I get a headshot first try, kay?" (Cocky, flirty)
"The Emperor of Palamecia is cunning, subtle, rude, and arrogant. He calls Firion by name after he defeats the Emperor's Behemoth, but other times calls them insects or worms. Owing to his arrogant nature, the Emperor never fights unless he has to and has his minions do the work for him. His actions are tyrannical and he abhors humanity. As the Emperor views humans as interchangeable, he sees himself as superior to them and thus views himself as the only one capable of ruling. Owing to his arrogance and subtlety, he told Firion's group that him personally dispatching them ought to be considered an honor. The Emperor is a heartless despot who cares for nothing but power and world domination, using cruel methods to achieve his ends. Voice: Medium-low to low. Posh, royal-sounding, elegant and overall extremely punchable. No one should like how he sounds.

"Hmph. Can a group of worms ever amount to anything?" (Condescending, shrugging off a potential threat)
"You have braved the bowels of Hell to reach me. But the hand of man, which deals in false justice and forsaken love, can never hope to defeat the lord master of Hell!" (Exclaiming to the heroes, threatening)
"The empire? Ha! I've no need for such trifles now. All the world shall fall by my hand and the powers I gained in Hell. And your blood will be the first to spill!" (Villain monologue, bordering to insanity)

Voice: Medium to Medium-high. Caring, kind-sounding, but can come off as naively sweet, or sweetly naive. She's much nicer than a lot of the cast, so her voice should reflect that.

"Just like you've protected me, I can protect you, too." (reassuring her sister, determined)
"You're treating my like a child! But, I guess that does bring back nice memories... (Upset at first, but then nostalgic)
"Kuja is narcissistic, Kuja has an ego to match his power, and he lets his pride rule his head. Kuja uses his elegance to hide his insecurities, and deep down is conflicted over his existence. An enigmatic man whose plots embroil the Mist Continent in war. He is known for his pompous, overblown mannerisms and theatrical rhetoric. After learning the secret to his own existence, he sets off on a maniacal pursuit to annihilate all creation." -Final Fantasy Wiki
Voice: Medium-high to medium. Pompous. That's really all I can really say for this character's voice. He should give off a very "I'm above you, I'm fancier than you" kinda vibe.
