Disney's Moana "How Far I'll Go" GROUP CHORUS

Project Overview

Welcome, Disney and Moana fans!! I literally saw this movie two days ago (New Zealand is always late to the party :P) and I had this plan ever since then..... To make a group cover of "How Far I'll Go"!! Because I'll need more than one soloist and more than one background singer, and I can't exactly "cast" several people for the roles, I'll make sure to contact you in a PM if I'd like you to join the team. 


What you need to know:

- You may audition for both a soloist role and a backup singer

- A good mic is preferable for a soloist (not necessarily a Blue Yeti or anything, but something with clear sound)

- I'm still deciding on whether the cover will use the orchestral version (as heard in the Explainer Video) or the official instrumental

- All singers are welcome, of any gender!

- Whether you sing with or without an instrumental is up to you. And if it's the official or orchestral, that's also your decision.

  • "How Far I'll Go" GROUP CHORUS Results!

    Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned! It was a hard decision to choose singers to work with me on this project, but I managed to narrow it down to four!

    So a huge congrats to: decksandporches, hikarikira, madelady and agentfluffy!! I'm very excited to be working with this awesome group of people and I can't wait to hear what we'll create!

    If you weren't chosen, please don't take that as criticism. Most of you had great voices, it was only due to recording quality that I couldn't cast you. So please keep on singing and creating your own covers if that's what you enjoy doing. You are all very talented people and I enjoyed listening to every one of your auditions~!

Background singers don't need as much strength in their voice as a soloist, so this will suit singers with a softer tone. If you know how to harmonize, that might help, but it's not required.
