Digimon Liberator English Project
Project Overview
"The Digimon Card Game has evolved.
After a year-long closed beta test, “Digimon Liberator,” a futuristic and fully immersive game that allows players to enjoy card battles in the metaverse space of Lacuna, has finally been officially launched.
With the debut of this revolutionary game and the announcement of the Digimon Card Game World Championship planned to take place inside it, the number of active users continues to grow.
And yet, the game hides a secret unknown even to those running it.
A secret that will shake the very foundation of the world.
A secret still unknown to all."
Welcome to the Digimon Liberator English Dub, a project intended to give life to the webcomic and webnovel of Digimon Liberator in terms of entertaining Digimon fans who were wishing for a new anime, or to help bring new fans into the Digimon Card Game. The base comic and novel seems inspired by that of the Yu-Gi-Oh and Vanguard anime, so we are trying to match that sort of vibe in terms of what we're looking for, so no need to be too familiar with Digimon. There will be 2 seperate projects running concurrently; the Comic Dub which stars Shoto and Arisa, and the Audio Book, which stars Yuuki and Winr.
We have decided to list these 2 projects under one in case characters would cross over, additionally there may be more characters introduced down the line.
Unfortunately, as this is a project formed out of passion for Digimon, this project may not initially be paid work, especially as I do not have the funds to pay on a regular basis for your work. As long as you are okay with unpaid work and doing this for fun, then I can't wait to hear what you've got and hopefully have you join our team ^^.

"19, Male. A first-year university student knowledgeable about Digimon and Digimon cards. Skilled at breaking the ice with people, he's so adept at charming and inviting newly met acquaintances out for meals that he's sometimes called "supernaturally social." However, he also has a tendency to give up at crucial moments in competitions that has been causing him trouble.
Amidst this, an encounter in Digimon Liberator, initiated by an invitation from his childhood friend Arisa Kinosaki, starts to reshape everything within him."

Director Notes: Thinking maybe Jayden/Judai Yuki vibes in terms of voice, but open for any take. Ideally must sound like a strong protagonist, as this role serves as narration for the comic.

He has a difficult personality, which is actually just a front to hide his shyness. As a result, he rarely opens up to others and finds the unrestrained and intrusive Shoto Kazama annoying.

Influenced by Japanese anime, she has embraced the "tsundere" personality, mistakenly believing that this approach will somehow work in real-life relationships as well."
