Diaries Choose Your Story is a remake of Aphmau's Minecraft Diaries season 1. It aims to retell the story in a way that many more people (both fans and non-fans) can enjoy.
The game will be free to play with optional donations that go towards paying fees for releases on platforms other than PC. We aim to release the game in 2020 at the latest with around 30 chapters (this is just an estimate). The game will have multiple endings (both good and bad) and 4 different routes the player can take based on what they choose.
Plot
Our world is split into regions, this region is the region of Ru'aun. Ru'aun is inhabited by humans, elves, werewolves, witches and meif'wa.
In this region, lords are the leaders of the villages inhabited by the people of Ru'aun. It's their job to take care of their village and protect their people. Lords of course can be targets for certain people, and this is why we have guards. It's a guard's job to protect their lord, even if it costs them their life.
You are a girl born with no memory of her past and no knowledge of the world around her. A completely blank slate whose fate is in your hands.
You find a village struggling without a lord after the previous lord mysteriously "disappeared." The people inhabiting the village have no memory whatsoever of the previous lord. The only thing left of him is an old house and a journal.
Slowly you begin to notice the people of the village starting to see you as a lord; even after Zenix (one of the guards of the village) had warned you not to get involved in the affairs of the village to stop this from happening.
You become lord of the village and for a period of time, everything goes perfectly. You get to know the people of the village and watch as it grows and expands. Although you face many trials as a lord, you always pull through, even in the darkest of times.
But will it stay that way forever?
