Devil May Cry (Comic Dubs) - Lady & Trish Casting Call
Project Overview
You essentially know the gist of everything just from the title, but I’ll still put this here for anyone that wants more “insight” on me and the project.
So, heya. I’m Riku. I’m a voice actor who’s been doing this schtuff since the summer of 2015 (7 years, come summer, of varied experience.), I have dabbled in abridged work, comic dubs + fandubs, and audio roleplays, as well as gotten official work in visual novels and animation.
Keeping it brief:
I'm looking for a couple voice actresses to play Lady and Trish for some short DMC comic dubs. (My hope is to find peeps that will want to come back for future DMC comic dubs, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.)
What I’m looking for isn’t majorly strict, just sound close enough to the character’s tone and voice, read the lines in a not jank way, have clean audio and a good enough set up (yes I can tell through the audio), and not be a child. DMC isn't for kids as it is, so I really don't wanna have like a 10 year old auditioning.
Roles are for the 2 main femmes of the series: Lady and Trish. Lady is the one I need more URGENTLY, hence here being at the top of the cast…..sheet thing.

Lady is a human Devil Hunter who first appeared in Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening as both a supporting character and a boss character.
I have always seen Lady as a femme fatale version of Dante; she has her serious moments, ESPECIALLY in her introductory game, but she also can have fun and let loose while demon hunting. If you can bring a subtle swagger to her charisma, that'd be rad. Otherwise, just try to sound like her. I personally enjoyed her voice when it was Kari Wahlgren performing her, but any variation is acceptable and I'd honestly love some original takes. "What happened next? Nothing, really. We took care of all the remaining devils and that was it. I still have a job to do that's far from done, which is to eliminate every last demon." (Context: DMC3, epilogue cutscene. Lady is narrating)
"So just how much do you know about Sparda? The story goes that Sparda served as the feudal lord of the city long ago. The people who live there today take these legends as truth and worship him... Just like a god." (Context: DMC4, Cutscene of Lady telling the story of Sparda's time in Fortuna to Dante and Trish at the DMC office.)
"It's true. You'd never recover from that. You saved us, you should be proud. Now you can put all this behind you--" (DMCV, Cutscene at end of Mission 18, Lady is trying to convince Nero that killing Vergil, his father, isn’t something he actually wants to go through with; she is harshly cut off at the end by Nero.)

Trish is a Demon created by Mundus who strangely resembles Dante's mother, Eva. She first appeared in Devil May Cry as a supporting character.
This one is definitely more open to interpretation, but I've personally always seen Trish as the very confidant older sister kind of type; her voice conveys an inherent knowledge that we never really get divulged, but she also has a familial warmth to Dante and Lady while also exuding a nice charm while in the thick of battle. Sounding EXACTLY like she does in the games isn't important to me, I just want you to sound close enough to her in-game voice type. “So, you must be the handyman who'll take any dirty job, am I correct? You're the man who lost a mother and a brother to evil twenty years ago, the son of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda, Mr. Dante." (Context: DMC1, opening cutscene)
“I'm not your mommy, V. You're a big boy. And you need to see this through. Dante's war.” (Context: DMCV, cutscene after Mission 11, Trish is not giving V a pass at all for how Urizen was formed.)
“Do I look like a demon to you? I dress to impress." (Context: DMC4, Trish disguised as Gloria.)
