Destiny 2 Lore Animation
Project Overview
Destiny 2 is a game with countless lore entries. Basically story that is not directly told through the main narrative, rather text entries. This entry follows the Exo Stranger/Elsie Bray as she researches foreign technology with two unlikely companions. Somehow, she is stuck in a "Ground Hog's Day" type loop, and has relived the same apocalyptic events time and time again. Now, she spends her time trying to prevent the end, only now she's living in a future that she has never experienced, so she's for once experiencing the unknown, this piece of technology, being part of it. Tokki was found with part of this technology on her shell, and was more or less required to tag along with Elsie to figure out what it is.
Typically, I'm a 3D artist who works either in light animation or Digital 3D renders. This is something new for me as this project takes the form of something similar to a storyboard animatic. Fully rendered and composited images, but mixed with small amounts of animation.

This character is already voiced in-game, so it's preferable if you can match the performance of one of her voice actresses to the best of your ability. As for the character herself, she is very reserved, determined, and headstrong. She is very dry and task-oriented. In this particular story, she is focused on trying to reverse engineer a piece of technology she hasn't seen before (Long story short, she is basically living in a "Ground hog's Day" type loop, so for her, she has seen a lot of different timelines.) When she discovered this piece of technology, she encountered a ghost named Tokki, Ghosts being companions for the players in-game. Tokki also had part of the foreign technology on her shell, the technology known as "silver".
I've also included reference videos for the two different voice actresses that have played this character, so if you're interested, you can get a frame of reference for how she sounds. Basically anywhere between these two performances is what I'm hopeful for.

Your accessory came from a gun. Someone in the outer system is using weaponized nanomachines. I haven't seen that.
Tokki is a ghost in the Destiny universe. Ghosts are companions of the player. In this story, Tokki was aboard a space station, using unknown technology as an accessory to her shell. The Exo Stranger/Elsie Bray stumbled upon Tokki and the tech, and is now studying it. Tokki could be described as innocent, oblivious, and youthful. She doesn't really see the point in the research Elsie is performing, and doesn't want to be stuck in a lab. This character hasn't appeared in-game yet, so there's no frame of reference for how she would sound.
