Demon Truck: The Audio Drama
Project Overview
Demon Truck is a dark, supernatural thriller set against the backdrop of the American trucking world. Inspired by the songs of Bob Nierstedt, this audio drama follows Frank Graves, a seasoned trucker haunted by guilt, strained family relationships, and the eerie presence of a demonic truck stalking him on the open road. As Frank grapples with real-world challenges and the growing threat of supernatural forces, he must confront his own inner demons, past mistakes, and an otherworldly menace that threatens everything he holds dear.
This gripping and atmospheric audio drama combines elements of horror, psychological tension, and emotional drama, bringing listeners on a suspenseful journey through desolate highways, where the boundaries between reality and the supernatural blur. Each episode peels back new layers of Frank’s life and the sinister forces that bind him to the road.

Once the recording is wrapped, we’ll head straight to the big leagues. Our current distributor has direct channels to Apple Music, Amazon Prime, and Amazon’s Audible Originals, ensuring immediate visibility on some of the biggest platforms in the industry. This direct pipeline means Demon Truck will have a powerful launch pad, and our team will meet with top executives to negotiate the purchase or buyout of the show.
What does that mean for you? Back-end compensation once the deal closes. Given our tech, distribution, and the sheer quality of this production, the question isn’t if we’ll take off—it’s when. Frank Graves is a seasoned long-haul truck driver in his 40s to 50s, a man who carries the weight of responsibility on his shoulders. He’s a salt-of-the-earth type—rugged, dependable, and deeply proud of his role as the provider for his family. However, this pride often turns into stubbornness, leaving him emotionally distant from those he loves. Frank is torn between the physical demands of his job and the strain it puts on his relationships, particularly with his wife and daughter. He’s haunted by guilt and inner turmoil, especially when faced with supernatural events that challenge his sense of reality and control.
At his core, Frank is a man trying to do what’s right, even when he’s pushed to his emotional and mental limits. He can be tender and loving, but his pride and frustration frequently lead him into moments of anger and regret. As the protagonist of Demon Truck, Frank is a complex character, grappling with both real-world struggles and darker, otherworldly forces.

Frustrated, trying to hold back emotions) "It’s my job! It pays the bills! It’s how I provide for this family, but you wouldn’t understand, would you?"
(Determined, with a hint of desperation) "I’m innocent, god damn it! You think I wanted this? I didn’t ask for any of it!"
Bobby Austin is a young man in his 20s to early 30s, fresh-faced and relatively new to the trucking world. He’s eager, somewhat naive, and tends to act before fully thinking things through. There's a nervous energy about him, as he’s not as hardened by life as someone like Frank. Bobby often tries to play it cool, but his inexperience and anxiety show through, especially when he’s caught in dangerous or supernatural situations. Beneath his initial friendliness and youthful bravado, Bobby hides a growing sense of fear and desperation, which slowly bubbles to the surface as his true circumstances are revealed.
At his core, Bobby is a good-hearted guy who is in over his head, caught between trying to escape his own mistakes and confronting forces beyond his understanding. He oscillates between nervous optimism and bursts of anger or fear as the pressure on him increases.
