Last day!
Hey everyone! Thank you so much to everyone who's auditioned so far, you've made my job very difficult haha. Today is the last day to audition before I decide on the final cast and begin reaching out!
DELINQUENTS
Project Overview
Delinquents is an independently animated six minute short about a human living in a world now ruled by carnivorous anthro animals. The setting is mostly western, with some mild steampunk elements. The short itself takes place in Rhonda’s bar, where Razz and Bandit encounter the bounty hunter Sync, and a showdown takes place.
You must be 16 years or older to audition for this project.
You must have a decent quality mic.
You must have discord and be willing to join a group chat if cast.
Otherwise, anyone may audition.
Note/update: I have the auditions set to be open for a month, but that’s just an estimate, and it might close before then or the deadline will be extended depending on when the animation itself is finished. Currently it’s 100% done!
I feel I should also mention that the animation style for this short is more of a rough animatic as I’m working on a much larger project, and this is something I’m doing a little more off to the side (doesn’t mean I don’t have a lot of passion for it tho! Just not a lot of time) Thank you!

Animation is COMPLETE!
The animation/animatic for Delinquents is now complete! I’ll be leaving auditions open for another week, UNLESS I don’t receive any new auditions within the next three days (May 5th through May 7th). So I will either be reaching out on May 8th or May 11th depending. Thank you for your patience and I’m excited to bring this project to life!

Human
Razz is one of the few remaining humans in the Delinquents world. Not only are they a wanted criminal, but being human makes them a prime target for carnivores. They’re quiet, sneaky, and secretive. They wear a bunny mask to hide their identity, but it’s not always very convincing. She is close friends with Bandit, and the two of them work together to escape bounty hunters, law enforcement, and carnivores. Razz acts as the straight man of the two, often keeping Bandit out of trouble. They’re tough to crack, making them smile or laugh is a difficult feat.

Bull
Rhonda is the owner of a bar, often regarded as being in the “complete middle of nowhere”. It’s one of the only buildings still standing in an almost fully abandoned town, which was once bustling. Despite everything, she has no one to shut her down, so she stays open. She’s very motherly and loving, she supports the pained and guards the endangered, but her own life is still a mystery to all those who meet her. Even though she’s often nice and calm, if someone gets on her nerves she isn’t afraid to tell them off. She’s both wise and tough.

Sync is a semi-infamous bounty hunter, who’s created a large collection of successful targets overtime. He’s loud, proud, and loves shootin’ guns. He’s aggressive and angry and sarcastic, and an avid carnivore. He’s pushy and confident, almost to a fault, but he often gets what he wants because of it. He has a scratchy, but powerful voice that lends him a great amount of intimidation and recognizability.

Bandit is a fun-loving, excitable scam artist with an artistic talent for banjo music. He puts on grand performances, or assumes the role of a snake oil salesman, and then steals from large crowds and moves on to the next town. Because of this (and his alliance with Razz), he has become wanted in a lot of cities and towns. Bandit is eccentric, upbeat, and enthusiastic. He often acts before he thinks, or disregards plans in favor of diving in head first.

Bozo is Sync’s loyal sidekick. He does whatever he says quickly, efficiently, and without question. He is always by Sync’s side, it’s near impossible to find the two of them separated. This has led to Bozo having a sort of obsession with his boss. He doesn’t mind that his bosses morals are odd, all he wants to do is be there by his side.
