Dejiko & Friends: English Sing Along
Project Overview
"Dejiko & Friends: English Sing Along" is a series of Radio Dramas/Drama CDs based on the "Di Gi Charat" franchise (more specifically on Nyo!). These CDs are inspired by Kidz Bop (in an ironic way) and the many showtapes produced for Chuck E. Cheese's.
After the royals of Planet Di Gi Charat permanently close Princess School for money in order to prevent a war against Planet Analouge, Dejiko gets bored and decides to host a radio show to past the time. She'll even invite some of her best friends, frenemies, and maybe some special guests to join on the fun with her.
Guidelines/Rules:
No use of AI voices/voicemods (obviously) or altering your voice using a audio editing software (e.g. pitch shifting). However, stuff like adjusting the volume of your recording is acceptable.
If you're choosing a character to voice and you have to choose only one specific voice to impersonate (Aqua and Yurei are exceptions because they only had one voice actor total), keep it consistent for all 3 lines.
While singing is optional, it is recommended you try and sing a song as the character you're playing as since this fan series is music based.

Dejiko's the M.C. (both main character and master of ceremonies) and the princess of Planet Di Gi Charat. She's a real sweet girl but she's also a very snarky little brat. She'll often deal with things she doesn't like by putting it off and/or walking away. Don't get on her nerves though, her powerful Mekura Beam/Eye Beam can obliterate anything and hurt just about anybody. She also ends her sentences with "nyo."
English Voices:
Luci Christian (Panyo Panyo, 2004)
Jessica-Gee George (Wonderful & Leave it to Piyoko, 2005)

Wow, this is great, nyo! Way better than living in some stuffy castle, Am I right, nyo?
Watching a princess in her sleep... that's a terrible crime where I come from, nyo!! MEKURA BEAM!!!!
Nyo Nyo heho, I'm not scared of the BGs nyo. I'm gonna go and play like a good little girl, nyo.
Puchiko is the other princess of Planet Di Gi Charat and is also Dejiko's little sister, being half her age. Despite being the youngest of the girls, she's very logical but also has a soft spoken voice and doesn't talk as much like her big sister does. She has the same ability as Dejiko as well, being a Mekura Beam/Eye Beam attack, but unfortunately it's not as effective as Dejiko's. Puchiko ends her sentences with "nyu."

Cut-and-paste threads are so 1999, nyu.
There's even an old man to yell at kids, nyu.
I just moved here a few days ago so I'm not sure where the fish shop is, nyu.
Rabi~en~Rose, otherwise known as Hikaru Usada, is a "well known idol in the Lucky Cat Shopping District" (even though Dejiko thinks she doesn't deserve that title). She's much like Dejiko, that being nice and sweet until you tick her off (especially if that person is Dejiko). She runs a hair saloon called "Charisma Thief" with her parents, who are both French-Japanese. She's also the cousin of the famous idol singer, Akari Usada (though Dejiko doesn't believe in that fact).

Oh dear, my uniform is gonna get all wrinkled... I wouldn't want that to happen.
Oh boy, maybe I should sing this kind of song! Or maybe this song here is better!
Haha, now now let's all try to get along shall we? Nothing's more important than trust, right?
Piyoko is the princess of Planet Analogue and the leader of the Black Gema Gema Gang, an organization started by Piyoko. Originally when they came to Earth, they wanted to capture Dejiko and sell her for ransom. While Piyoko is generally more chill and sweet, her Kuchi Kara Bazooka/Mouth Bazooka is a force to be reckon with, as it's more destructive than Dejiko's Mekura Beam. Despite that, Dejiko always has the last laugh as Piyoko's reflexes aren't as good. Piyoko ends her sentences with "pyo" and she always calls Dejiko her "Big Sister" for reasons unknown.
English Voice Actors:

It's not fair!! You promised me an allowance so you have to give it to me, pyo!
Piyoko is really hungry but she can be patient and wait longer, pyo...
Oh no, big sister is happy, this plan was supposed to work, pyo! What now?!
MiKe (pronounced Mee-Kay) is a fellow alien from Planet Di Gi Charat and is one of Dejiko's childhood friends. MiKe's the most energetic out of everybody, she's always loud, jumping about and is always ready for adventure. MiKe has an aspiration for fishing, both as a hobby and a job. Because of her jumpy attitude, MiKe's not really quick to think about others right away as sometimes she's way too busy thinking about the fish she can catch while swinging her fishing rod around. MiKe ends her sentences with "mya."

Cynthia Martinez (Panyo Panyo, 2004)

Not another word, mya! I've got more work to do, mya!
No, you don't get it mya. See I was learning how to fish, and that's how I caught the big one, mya.
Don't do it Dejiko, I won't eat sea slugs for lunch, mya!! You hear me, I won't, I won't, mya!!
Rinna is another one of Dejiko's childhood friends. In terms of personality, Rinna is the exact opposite of MiKe, she's quiet, laid back and kind hearted. However, she's a bit too laid back as she sleeps... a lot... like more times that you can count. Despite that, she's also an excellent baker, using "baking powder from the heart" in her pastries to make it taste even sweeter than other bakers would. Rinna ends her sentences with "myu."

This cake will put a big smile on your face, and once you're smiling I can teach you how to bake as well as I do, myu.
They were on sale right there, myu. It was a good price considering the quality, myu.
I think it sounds fun making the world a happy place, myu.
Aqua is a mermaid who was caught by Dejiko via fishing rod. Despite her appearance looking a bit young, she's actually the oldest of the girls being around 120 years old (I am not making that up she said that herself in the anime). Unlike most old folk, Aqua is always intrigued and impressed with the technological advancements that happen all around her, but she likes to reminisce from time to time. And she seems to be the most positive thinker out of everybody, and she always brainstorms up creative and imaginative ideas.

Thank you so much, my hair's back to normal now!
Actually, it's pretty boring being a mermaid because nothing intresting never happens.
There's a huge eating fish around here. It eats people and becomes very violent on land.
Yurei is a ghost, should be no surprise if you know what that means in Japanese. Much like Dejiko, Usada, and Piyoko, she can be a great person to hang around with but don't aggravate her, or she'll give you a scare. She likes to tease people by giving them a freight and it works every time. Despite that, she's often misunderstood as a person and wants people to understand not all ghosts are out for souls to possess. Despite Yurei pushing that stereotype even further with her teasing and how she handles criticism.

It's been a long, long time since I've had this many visitors at the manor.
Oh my new friends...what a wonderful word that is...how exciting.
Wait a minute, maybe I am a little bit creepy.
Gema is Dejiko's loyal guardian, or so that's what he thinks he is. Dejiko thinks Gema is nothing more than a nuisance and a punching bag, mekura beaming him almost every day. Gema always tries to be reasonable with others when Dejiko isn't involved and is often polite. Gema ends his sentences with his own name, "gema."
Gema in this case doesn't require that much singing unlike the girls.

Sorry to disturb you, gema. MiKe and Rinna sent me here, gema. I'm bringing back the dresses, gema.
Liar!! I saw that coming, gema. This is how it should go, gema. Start the music!
It's your fault, gema. You insisted on taking the long route to Earth so we can get some snacks, gema. That's why we ran out of gas, gema.
In order to be an audio engineer for this fan project, you'll have to previous work of you doing some audio engineering.
