Project Overview
What Is Deja Vu About?
Deja Vu is a comedy-drama about three runaways that were kidnapped in a human trafficking scandal and experimented on by an elite terrorist organization for their entire childhood (family friendly content!). In this animated series, the runaways, Kira ("Mustache Ninja"), Chelsea (Fluorescent Violet), and Berry (Hesham Elshazly), attempt to slip back into reality and live normal lives. That's kind of hard to do when you have to steal someone else's identity, manage your super-human powers, and stay hidden from the government and an international terrorist group that's trying to hunt you down.

Deja Vu will be distributed onto various online platforms such as Youtube, Vimeo, etc. It is being produced by Purple Productions. Deja Vu is planned to be 2D animated but things are always subject to change. We are currently in the writing stage and will tackle animation as soon as our first season is completely written. We intend on having 3 seasons, 8 each. Episodes will last about 10 minutes. We have writers' meetings about twice a week and adjust frequently to find a convenient time for you. We are currently planning out the episodes and working more on the characters in order to efficiently write the first season.

Chelsea is one of the three main protagonists in Deja Vu. As a child Chelsea was in a tragic plane "accident" resulting in her father's death. A terrorist organization known as "The Visionaries" then took Chelsea to an undisclosed location where she was raised, isolated from the rest of the world. Chelsea is very paranoid and doesn't trust many people. She's ambitious, doesn't care what others think, strong-willed, cares deeply for those close to her (even if she doesn't express it), is very protective, mature, and intelligent. In present day, Chloe is 17 years old and can read minds/manage her visibility to the human eye.

Berry was 9 years on when he was involved in a plane "accident" resulting in the fatality of both his parents, moments before being snatched by activists known as "The Visionaries". Berry is socially awkward, practical, level-headed, hot, somewhat quiet, and a killer chef. In present day, Berry is 18 years old and possesses the ability to shapeshift.

At the use of 5, Kira was seized by her father and enrolled at an undisclosed childcare facility managed by an elite group of activists. Regardless of her rather tragic past, Kira is happy, energetic, and optimistic. She also is a great leader and bring people of all sorts together. In present day, Kira is 15 years old and possesses the ability to see into the future and the past.
