Project Overview
Sailing the seas is something not everyone is fit to do. The sea is home to danger and mystery, something you'd want to stay away from. Yet some are drawn to it. Does it hold something powerful only the ancient gods have seen before?
Medousa is a mercenary, home to the island Mykonos. She isn't just a mercenary though but a most wanted mercenary. In fact all of Greece knows of her deeds. Ever since she had come of age she was sailing the seas, escorted by her loyal navigator and friend Sosthenes. Many are willing to pay many drachmae for her services. Others would pay many drachmae to see her dead.
Mykonos is home to the danger-seeking mercenary, a place she rarely leaves. The only thing that can get her off the island faster is the promise of adventure and.. drachmae. So when Medousa stumbles upon a letter, she doesn't think twice when she sees the reward the writer is willing to pay. Naxos, an island not too far away from Mykonos. Even bigger than her home. Medousa knows adventure awaits on that island, more than she could ever dream of having in Mykonos.
But myths keep her away from the sea around Naxos. For generations stories have been passed around about something inhumane residing in the depths of the sea just below Naxos. The lust for adventure brings Medousa to the port of Naxos. Her original plan to fulfill the request she had received.

She soon learns that there's much more to Naxos than meets the eye…

Not much is known about Panorea. She spends most of her time in her hideout and never takes off her hood. She's usually calm and collected and more observant than others. Pan hardly loses her cool but when she does, you know something was very important to her. It is obvious from the very beginning that Panorea has a big secret only waiting to be revealed. And Aadya seems to know about it as well. There seems to be a connection between the two.
Panorea, unlike many other, doesn't have access to any of the 4 magic types.

As you may know, Naxos is ruled by Queen Aadya. A terrible fit for the throne if you ask me. And many others agree. We’ve established a rebellion against the queen. Yet our voices are suppressed. Anyone who dare speak up against Aadya is to be killed, no questions asked. No matter who or how rich you are. An enemy on sight.
Queen Aadya is young, inexperienced. Thrown onto the throne to replace a sick mater. Malakas. [amusement lies in her voice when she says Malakas] She won’t learn. No one can influence her anymore. Death is the only way to solve this problem.
I cannot allow myself to proceed any further with this mission. I've already crossed too many lines. But it's not like you can tell, am I right Medousa?

Sosthenes is sailor of the Veatriki and Medousa's best friend. He will sail her to the end of the world if he has to. Sosthenes is a loving and cheerful guy and often seen as the life of the party. He pretty much only knows humor but can get serious in emotional situations in order to act as a shoulder to cry on.
Sosthenes is very important to the story as he basically guides Medousa to make certain choices.

She’s ready alright! The crew is well rested and old arrows have been replaced with new ones, right from the blacksmith. Food-supplies have been refilled too- But it’s just the usual.

Shisimo is a charmer at heart. He won't stop to compliment a woman if his life depended on it. So as one would imagine, he is instantly drawn to Medousa as he meets her. But the bigger picture is still missing. Shisimo is tied to a series of plots that will not help his case.
Behold- What have I spotted? A charming lady, or so it seems. Good day darling!
I know a place. Beautiful. Plants, trees, water. I think.. It is my destiny to show you every inch of Naxos.
Medousa who's she? I thought we said a date.. Not whatever this is?
Eugene is a shy and timid character. During the series he is seen with an obvious crush on Sosthenes. He has to deal with rejection early on and has somewhat of an own plot, despite being a minor character. He doesn't contribute much to the main plot but his story is worth to be told.
He should have a somewhat higher and lively, energetic voice. Voice cracks are okay too!

He doesn't love me. I came here for nothing. I'm sorry to have wasted your time Medousa, I finally know my worth. Tell Sosthenes I said hi and that he won't have to worry about me being near him again. Thanks.
Elias is Panorea's personal guard and ensures her safety. He will be seen by her side or leading troops into battle.
Typical Misthios thinking. Lower the spear. We’re here to collect you.

The longer you stay on Naxos, the more dots you will connect, the more secrets you’ll reveal. And in the end, you should have just stayed on your island, safe from the pain and torment this one is destined to bring you.
[It's night time. He and Medousa have a calm conversation. Although when he explains to her, that she might have made a mistake, he sounds sad.]
Aristedes is a simple farmer that lives on Mykonos. His personality is pretty ugly as he's only set for profit and tries to wiggle himself out of every bad situation.
You didn’t bring me back what you promised, you can’t seriously expect me to pay the full amount of Drachmae-.
I will kill those Malakes one by one! [angry]
Medousaaa! My have you grown- Certainly you'd remember how close we- uh- were? You'd do any favor for an old friend- r-right?
