DEBUNKED: Roblox Mythos-Inspired Hero Shooter
Project Overview
Hello! We are Spirit Box, a small friend-powered indie game development group! We are currently working on DEBUNKED, a third-person hero shooter inspired by Overwatch, based on popular Roblox mythos, media and urban legends; such as John Doe, 1x1x1x1, Noli, etc.
As of right now we've only been working on this for a couple of months, and callouts/voice commands will be a necessary part of our game's communication; therefore we are in need of voice actors willing to give the characters life!
I MUST clarify that this is a passion project, so payments and such are out of the question (for now).
You will get heavily credited for your work; and if we are particularly impressed by your performance in the long run, you will be paid based on difficulty of performance & amount of lines[$20-$100 range]
We can also edit/master your audio for you to keep consistent with other character voices!
We are far from finished, but we're looking forward to your submissions and eagerness to lend us a hand. A little life in the project boosts developer morale, and we're all in for it. Thanks a bunch for considering!

Guest 666 is also one of Roblox's oldest urban legends without a solid storyline.
In our iteration, we decided to make him like a "Big Boss of Hell" type of guy!
I expect him to sound like a godfather and a rich corporate dude combined.
He also has an ability that summons minions to assist you in battle, so you could imagine him as a leader, reliable to be your commander-type of dude.

Jane Doe, one of the first ever urban legends on Roblox alongside John Doe.
She doesn't have a whole lot of official backstory, but in our iteration she's the wife of John Doe.
She is a healer in this game.
She's a bit more futuristic/cyber than John, wielding dual hyperlaser pistols and sporting a kickass jacket!
I don't exactly have a voice description in mind for her, so you may experiment to your heart's content!

(One of the) Main antagonist of the Smiles Family myth.
His story goes along the lines of:
Loving father of 4 kids, wife and one kid died in a vehicle accident, eventually settles on living on Hallam Island, CT. However, this island has an evil entity named DIAM0NDEYES that possesses its residents. Eventually gets possessed one night and tries to kill his children, but he eventually resists the influence and digs an axe into his skull to stop DIAM0NDEYES from using him as its physical form. Ultimately leading to the DIIAM0NDEYES entity to set the house on fire; killing nobody but Robert.
I expect him to have a lot of "dad energy" in his voice. That's all, just a super strong and reliable dude who will put you in your place.

RUST_010 is a bit of a strange myth, as he didn't actually have a storyline planned. It was purely up to interpretation, but he's iconic for having fake players roam his game to give his players the illusion that they're not alone. In this iteration, he's an uncanny scarecrow-person who wields a sniper rifle with a scythe head.
I expect him to sound a little quiet, not a very talkative dude but very menacing. Maybe a little bit of growl when he talks, imagine a grim reaper.

Bloxwatch is the main antagonist character of the film of same name. He is presumed to be the first ever guest on Roblox.
He is a spirit who seeks to take the souls and powers of every other astral in order to achieve his dark goals. He has the ability to manifest/possess other people to take their appearance, albeit having glowing yellow eyes.
I imagine him sounding a little tired, very professional- imagine a no-nonsense business man who also reaps souls. Yeah, as weird as it sounds that's the only way I can describe him.

So basically in the lore, 4nn1 (pronounced Annie) is this girl with an abusive mother who plays with her friends on Roblox to get away from whatever the hell is happening in real life. She's a bit of a weirdo, asking her friends strange little questions like where they live, whether or not they've eaten dog flesh, etc. She eventually unsuccessfully tries to kill her mother after finding out she made her eat her own pet, leading to her getting locked up in the house and burnt alive.
In this game, she's the pyromaniac-flamethrower character, and I expect her to speak a little erratic/jumpy. Imagine Junkrat, but weirder.

(ULTIMATE LINE): IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!
"c00lkidd" was an infamous exploiter on Roblox, using their "c00lgui" and also being the owner of the "Team c00lkidd" group. They and their group members engaged in trolling and exploiting activities in popular Roblox games, plastering their avatar into the games' skybox to advertise their hacking group. They have promoted their group through the skybox and messages with the words "team c00lkidd Join Today!" around the maps. This is also one of the first Exploiters on Roblox.
In our iteration he's in senior year, playing baseball while also having his c00lgui; so I expect him to have a lot of "ego" to him.
You can exaggerate his voice however much you want, we're all in for it!

Clockwork is one of Roblox's most iconic admins, having created the (in)famous Falling Teapots game.
In our iteration, he pilots a teapot mech that fires rockets and machine gun rounds. Yes, you read that right.
I do not have a specific voice in mind, so feel free to experiment!

G0Z (pronounced Gauze, hence his doctor apparel) is one of, if not the largest myth on the platform ROBLOX. G0Z first gained traction in 2014 through his game, where popular myth hunters' corpses would periodically be added to the game itself.
G0Z acts how you would expect a clown to act. He's very playful and friendly but is secretly under the control of a god-like figure called the "Father Sun", who presumably makes him kill players and have their dead bodies placed in his game a few days later.
I expect him to sound like a generic clown, very goofy and very fun. That's all there is to him, maybe a little bit of crazy!

Jewk was a myth who lived in the colorless town of Davendrag, which suffered a terrible fire leaving the residents mutilated and uncanny (Don't worry, it's not actually graphic; just strange meme-y faces.) He is a mysterious figure who supposedly vanished after the Davendrag fire, unknown whether or not he was a victim, an escapist or the culprit.
I expect him to sound very calm and has a mysterious enigma to him.

Toothy Deer is one of Roblox's classic mascots/home characters. They are seen in Roblox admin Shedletsky's video "Online Social Hangout", hiding from people because they were calling them a toothy deer.
In this game, they are a mage healer that uses magic to heal and amplify damage; so I expect them to just sound a little fancy- like a royalty sorta deal?
I also think it would be funny if they said words real funny, like "I am noth a toofy theer!" to exaggerate the fact that they have toothy deer teeth. This may/will likely not sound that good in practice, so it is recommended that you do a take without this.

GoodPuffer is the protagonist of the Ocean Terror myth alongside his best friend, AngeredFish. He serves as one of the builders / engineers for the hotel facility, and is considered highly intelligent for his ability to build machinery and such.
GoodPuffer has expressed a disliking and sometimes hatred for humans. This is most likely due to what little he sees of humanity being generally bad, such as harpoons and other sea life hunting equipment. Despite this, GoodPuffer clearly cares for his friends and those around him. He is particularly protective of AngeredFish and safeguards him in dangerous situations. GoodPuffer also seems to care deeply about nature and the living environment around him.
As for his voice description, he canonically speaks in a childlike broken English, so I expect him to be wacky and whimsical, but still; he's also highly intelligent and has faced a whole lot of trauma so have fun balancing those two aspects of him

(ULTIMATE LINE): ANGEREDFISH!- NOW IS OF YOUR TIME! (Yelling)
The Last Guest, also known as Guest 1337, is the protagonist of Roblox animation series "The Last Guest". It follows the story of how "Bacon Hairs" (another prominent type of character on Roblox), declared war on Robloxia, because they harness a deep hatred for Guests.
Day by day, people of his kind were getting killed off; eventually leading to the death of his own parents.
Not only is he capable of using firearms and other weapons, The Last Guest is also incredibly strong when it comes to hand-to-hand combat.
With courage in his heart and justice in his hands, Guest 1337 fought not for vengeance, but for a future where no child would have to endure the pain he once did. The last of his kind—but never alone.
As for his voice description, I expect him to sound very strong, someone who knows what he's doing; maybe even the anchor of your team. I expect him to be loud (maybe even yelling) at times due to his military training, but at the same time he can get very polite and caring for those around him.
