Deathmatch Classic: Refragged
Project Overview
Deathmatch Classic: Refragged is a remake/continuation of Deathmatch Classic built in the Source Engine with new maps, game modes, weapons, quality of life improvements and more!. It is not a straight port. Think of it as if Deathmatch Classic got the Counter-Strike: Source treatment. DMC took a novel approach and blended the Half-Life and Quake universes to give a unique and fresh experience, DMC:R continues to enhance these themes and environments.
DMC:R will feature revamps to existing maps, new maps, new modes (such as CTF and Clan Arena,) an original soundtrack, a single Player bot campaign (a-la Quake 3 Arena) and all while remaining faithful to the original.
DMC:R will provide a number of quality-of-life enhancements and toggleable features that will enhance gameplay without ruining the classic feeling of DMC.
The game should also please fan of later Quakes as remade maps and weapons from both of these games are expected to appear.
We are looking for talented sound alike voice actors!
It is planned for an eventual free release on Steam, with included workshop support.
