Death Note: Speedy Dub
Project Overview
We are looking for voice actors to participate in a Speedy redub of Death Note. For those unfamiliar, a Speedy Dub is specific style of low-budget English VA's produced by the Malaysian company Speedy Video. This is inspired by them!
Voice Actor
He is the main protagonist of the Death Note series. After discovering the Death Note, he decides to use it to rid the world of criminals. His killings are eventually labelled by the people living in Japan as the work of "Kira."

Voice Actor
He is a Shinigami who, after becoming bored with the Shinigami Realm, steals a second Death Note and drops it into the Human World. This Death Note is discovered by Light Yagami who uses it in an attempt to cleanse the world of evil and injustice. This leads to Light's conflict with L, Near and Mello, thus satisfying Ryuk's need for entertainment.

He is a world-renowned detective who takes on the challenge of catching the mass murderer known as Kira. In his investigation, L becomes suspicious of Light Yagami and makes it his goal to prove that Light is Kira.

Voice Actor
She is an up-and-coming model, actress, and supporter of Kira who eventually becomes the Second Kira. After gaining a Death Note, she seeks out Kira in order to thank him for killing the man who murdered her family and to offer him her help. Having made the trade for the Shinigami Eyes, Misa learns that the identity of Kira is Light Yagami. After a meeting with Light, she decides to dedicate her life to helping Light however she can, and becomes determined to use her eyes to uncover L's real name.

She is the Shinigami who gives Misa Amane one of the Death Notes she had. Like Ryuk, Rem possesses two Death Notes; however, Rem did not get hers through trickery. The Shinigami Gelus, who had fallen in love with Misa, sacrificed himself to kill her destined murderer. In doing so he was reduced to dust, leaving only his Death Note. Rem delivered this Death Note to Misa, since it was her life he saved.

He is the younger of L's two successors, raised in Wammy's House—Watari's orphanage for gifted children in Winchester, England. After L's death, Near begins his investigation of the Kira case, gathering evidence over a period of four years. Near takes his findings to the President of the United States and reveals himself to be the true successor of L. Soon after, Near becomes the head of the Special Provision for Kira and continues the hunt for Kira. After making contact with "L" (Light Yagami), Near begins to suspect that he is also Kira.

Voice Actor
He is the older of L's two successors raised at Wammy's House, Watari's orphanage for gifted children in Winchester, England. When Roger asks that Mello and Near work together to capture Kira, Mello refuses, pointing out the differences between them. He leaves the orphanage soon after and eventually seeks help from the Mafia.

He is Chief of the NPA and Light Yagami's father. He initially leads the group of men who become members of the Task Force.

He leaves the Task Force after the NPA discontinues funding. He returns before Ryuzaki's death and is one of the first people after the time skip to suspect Light Yagami of being Kira. After the Kira case ends, Aizawa becomes Chief of the NPA.
