hey everyone! I'm back working on episode 4 of death note abridged. this is a far less serious version then the original series and is filled with dumb internet humor, if you want to understand the tone you can watch the last episodes that I'll leave a link to at the end of this message. this project contains a lot of cursing and other crude humor so if you are not comfortable with that then maybe this project isn't the best idea for you, if you like death note then you should definitely consider auditioning. Raye Penber will be playing an important role this episode. he is an FBI agent and the fiancé of Naomi Misora a retired special agent he is investigating Light on suspicions of being Kira. for the abridged his personality will be very different from the og show, instead in the abridged his character will be silly, cowardly, pretty stupid, and over all very incompetent at his job. Yet he’s obsessed with trying to be a “super detective” he balances out his idiocy with his fiancé naomi, who is the real super detective. since his character is so different compared to the original show feel free to try whatever voice you think would fit this version of the character, wether that’s a voice impression of the original va or your own take on raye. and if you’d like you can do some improv in the auditions

Naomi Misora will have more of a minor role this episode with not too many lines but will be playing a very important role next episode. Naomi is a former FBI agent and the fiancée of agent Raye Penber. After Kira kills Raye and the other twelve FBI agents during the events of this episode she will go on to start her own investigation on Kira, Naomi’s personality won’t be much different from what she had in the original show being really intelligent with great detective skills

While you're investigating someone who can kill criminals magically, a criminal mysteriously dies?
Wouldn’t that mean the person you were currently investigating could be kira
Shuichi Aizawa has a minor role this episode but will become an important reoccurring character, so I would like someone in this role who would be fine to be apart of this project for the long run. Aizawa is a member of the Kira task force. he is characterized by his seriousness, dedication to his work, and skepticism towards unconventional methods He is a respected member of the NPA and Task Force, but his strict adherence to the law often clashes with L's methods, leading to moments of conflict. although overall this project is far less serious then the original show, once he gets more screen time his personality could stray away from this over time.

Kiichiro osoreda is a drug addict and criminal used by Light to trick Raye Penber into revealing his FBI badge and information to Light so that he can kill him. light makes him hijack the bus him and Raye were on. Kiichiro Osoreda is shown to be unpleasant, violent, and greedy, caring only about money and not about people's lives. He robs banks, hijacks buses, and does whatever he can to make money, no matter how violent

Hideki ide is a member of the Japanese police, one of the few who becomes members of the Kira task force, he quits before he can fully join as he has a strong disliking of L, Ide has a short fuse and hates foolishness, but he has loyalty and a strong moral compas. only has a few lines this episode

in the abridged, she is a teenage girl who who light has to bribe to go on a date with him for his plan to get Raye's name to work. she is more interested in the money then hanging out with light.

the directer of the FBI, worked with L by sending FBI agents to asset him. he pulls the FBI out of the Kira case at the end of the video after Light kills all of them
