Hello! I am looking for an indefinite number of impressionists to make interactions between the canon characters of Deadlock and my OC for the game, Carmine!

I am, most ideally, looking for a wide range of different heroes, but seeing as I ship Carmine with Drifter, I am looking for the best Drifter impressionists I can find most of all; if you can do his voice, expect to do the most amount of work!

I will likely be casting multiple people to different heroes!

There will be ONE primary audition here with a few general lines as well as more specific instructions, such as giving an introduction as to which character you are voicing and doing a line or two from them that exists/ a general one for Carmine.

If you'd like to add more than that feel free! Multiple entries per different character are encouraged!

I'm just trying to get as many people as I can together, then I will write dialogue for the characters I manage to find. It's possible that I will write lines pre-emptively as well, but I mostly wanted to focus my energy on what people actually offer. Drifter will be getting lines the most quickly.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • you must be 18+ to audition SOME CHARACTERS (especially drifter lol) WILL BE FLIRTED WITH OR BE DISHING OUT FLIRTY REMARKS , by auditioning you are confirming you are fine with this and that you are over 18. 

  • by auditioning you consent to these clips OR AUDITIONS being used in animations/animatics etc, with credit of course!

Less relevant bits;

For a bit of context on the OC your character is interacting with, they're a gender nonspecific, very old (about the same age as Drifter) "Blood God" "Blood Witch" "Blood Beast" whose main abilities are the manipulation of blood (Think Crona from Soul Eater, Esidisi in JJBA, etc) ...(it's not clear what they are). They go by Carmine, and as far as pronouns use they/he/she interchangably. I am happy to answer questions about the dynamics of each character past this should you be curious!

    Hi guys. I think about this project basically every single day and feel really really guilty about it. I’m going to be writing a list today of each auditioned character and person cast(I’m trying to make sure you all get some lines).

    Things have been really hard for me lately in between personal struggles and my bf and I getting pretty sick.

    ***I would like to extend this project’s uses to a general “deadlock roster”*** for those who are interested. Please contact me @egretious on discord if you are fine with basically just doing anything related to deadlock, because that is the best way for me to involve every one of you in projects. (Plus, I feel shy making so much content about my ocs…)

  • Project deadline is closed + Update!

    Hihi all! I had a LOT of kinda insane things happened in the weeks this was open so I'm going to cast ASAP, but it will take some time.

    I also want to be able to send you your lines as close to when you're cast so you're not just sitting in waiting. I've been taking the time kind of recovering from everything, so patience is greatly appreciated.

  • PROJECT DEADLINE EXTENDED!

    I've had a ton of really amazing auditions, and since this is a relatively lax project, I will be extending it a few more days!

    I need more time to write the dialogue for the characters I'm seeing auditioned for most.

    ADDITIONALLY: Since then I've made more Deadlock OCs that I'd love to make interactions for, and when casting will be asking each person if they'd like to be reached out to again for more work with those other chars!

This role is GENERAL, as in for ANY Deadlock hero that you can do a good impression at. Good audio quality with little to no background noise is greatly appreciated. 

I am looking for a bunch of Drifter VA's most importantly. PLEASE AUDITION IF YOU CAN DO A GOOD DRIFTER VOICE AND DON'T MIND FLIRTY LINES!!
