Daybreak- A Roblox Horror Game
Project Overview
Daybreak is a horror game being developed for Roblox, mostly because that's an easy way to get started on game development. I have all the story and writing done. but I will need several voice actors and people to actually develop the game since I have no knowledge of game development whatsoever. The game takes place in what appears to be an abandoned restaurant, but ends up being something much more. If you are interested, please leave an audition and contact me either on Discord @ Subject Delta#1428 or on Roblox @ TheDemonDances. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

Three new supporting roles have been added to the Casting Call! They are minor roles, but the characters are still extremely important.

Developers needed
I've gotten great responses to the voice acting roles, but we are in desperate need of some game developers. If you know anyone who would be interested, please recommend them or have them audition. I have absolutely no knowledge of game development, so if we don't find any developers, the start of the project will have to be delayed a bit. Thank you to everyone who has auditioned so far though! I will probably start casting soon.
Bill is a former prison warden who was hired to come to the restaurant in order to prevent employees from leaving. He worked as a warden for many years, so his voice should be relatively low and angry.
Prisoners! An Outsider has entered out midst. Feel free to let him wander, but if he tries to escape, well... you have my permission to keep him here by any means necessary.
You think you can just walk in here and demand things from me? No! I run this place, I own everyone out there, and I own you! If you can't see that for yourself, I'll just have to show you!
Ryan Thomas is a tycoon-type character, for reference look at Andrew Ryan from BioShock or Mr House from Fallout New Vegas. He is the owner of the restaurant, but has realized the error of his ways and is willing to help the protagonist, Jack, escape.
I founded this place with the goal of destroying the limits of the human body. I was going to create the ultimate worker, a man who would never need to eat, or sleep, or other trivial time-wasting things like that. But it seems the human body was never meant to go this far...
Yes, I will help you get out, but there's something we need to do before we can leave. That thing has stopped your every attempt so far, and it's not going to stop until it's dead. I think you see what I'm getting at here.
A guard that appears at the end of the game. Pretty much all this character does is die, but hey, if you can die convincingly into the microphone, the part's yours.
Oh god... What is that thing?!
Take him down! Take him down, now!
(Simulate a painful death here)
If cast, you will be voicing the failed experiments/minor enemies in the game. I may accept multiple actors for this role.
You took everything from me! EVERYTHING!
I know you're still close. Why don't you just come out and make this easy?
Doug Spencer is a minor role, but important to the game'e story. He was an employee at the Thomas Industries facility hidden under the disguise of a restaurant, and he was a test subject for the "Utopia Experiment." An audio diary found by the player reveals his dark fate and serves to solidify the bad image of the facility in the player's mind.
NOTE: The lines for this character are all from the same audio diary, he is interacting with a doctor in the tape.
I'm fine, thank you.
You're sure this is safe, right?
It's just, if I'm the seventeenth attempt... What happened to the first sixteen?
Well, if you say it's safe, I guess I'll trust you...
Uh... Operation? Shouldn't you put me to sleep before you start operating?
(Painful scream)
Emily Wilson is a minor character, heard only in one audio diary, but this diary is highly important to the story. It shows how Ryan Thomas was a corrupt leader, and hints at what was really happening to the employees.
Strange things are going on here... Employees have been vanishing from their beds in the middle of the night, and Dr. Walker's “Defective count” just keeps growing. Mr. Thomas has been trying to convince us that the incidents are unrelated, but you don't have to have Dr. Walker's IQ to see what's really going on here. I just wish there was something I could do about it... Or maybe... Maybe there is! What if I- I-I gotta go!
Harry Johnson appears only in this audio diary, but his role is extremely important. This tape indirectly reveals how Thomas was able to manipulate his employees and make them do what he wanted.
I've been sitting here in the Institute, watching these... videos... that Mr. Ryan keeps broadcasting. I've been in here for... days now. They bring me food, and I just keep watching. At first I tried to look away, but something always... What was I saying? Oh, right. I should never have questioned Mr. Thomas' leadership. I don't know what I was thinking back, then before I... Before I... What was I talking about?
