Hideyoshi Shiota (HEE-DEH-YO-SHEE SHI-OH-TA) is the ultimate Cinnamon roll and the protaganist of this game. He's a bubbly sweetheart and is going to try his best to keep everyone alive.

My name is Hideyoshi Shiota, the Ultimate Cinnamon Roll and I was accepted into the newly renovated Hope’s Peak Academy. You may wonder what exactly a title like Ultimate Cinnamon Roll entails, well pretty much I gained it from my online presence. I have a very cutesy appearance and am super pure.
Lora Finch is the Ultimate Lawyer. She's a kind person and takes her job seriously.
Hm…..anyway, I’m Lora Finch, the Ultimate Lawyer. There isn’t much to say about me if I’m being honest.
why would I have dirt on me? I’ll have you know I’m an honest lawyer and defend people who I believe should actually be heard out. I don’t accept bribes either, I believe that the courtroom should be a battle of wits not money. I just don’t think there’s anything interesting to me.
Daiki Ikeda (DIE-KEY EE-KEH-DAH) is the Ultimate Journalist. He's dead set on only giving his readers the truth. Anything but the truth is a no-no or else he wouldn't be the ultimate journalist.

I got my talent through being the most reliable journalist out there. People have fact checked my work multiple times and seen that I tell the truth. I always tell both sides of the story no matter what. I’m always neutral about everything. Censorship and not telling the whole story isn’t my thing.
Saburuo Mochizuki (SAH-BUH-ROW MOCHI-ZOO-KEY) is the Ultimate converter. He is a shy person and has schizophrenia. He and Daiki don't really get along.

never know, our kidnappers could have brought them in order to mess with our heads. I’ve seen cases on the news, and been told stories from people directly about stuff like this happening in order to slowly drive the victims insane. Not to mention that the clothes had wires that are too small to see.

Monokarasu (Mono-Ka-ra-suu) is the mono mascot of this game. He is a rainbow and black crow, fitting in with the theme of blind truth. Crows are typically painted as mischievous and cunning. They are quick thinkers, like how everyone will try to be in these trials ahead.
