All Roles Casted
Hello everyone! Thank you to everyone who auditioned, and it is with great excitement that we can announce that all roles have been casted! We look forwards to working with these talented VAs!
Aula Danganronpa: Sacro is an audio drama series, based on the Danganronpa games.
The story will follow 16 participants and 4 staff members via audio recordings depicting both day-to-day events as well as major events like deaths, investigations and trials.
It is preferred that only VA's aged 14 and up (or VA's that will turn 14 during production) audition. Experience is not required, but decent audio quality will play a role in the decisions. Some roles have already been cast via role offers to experienced VAs. Discord is required for this project. Please record auditions in AABBCC format.
The recording process is expected to begin soon after casting has been finalised.
On the occasion that a voice actor is extremely fitting for a role, an early casting may take place.
For any questions, please contact the creator either via CCC dms or at (@)theonaster on Discord.
Trigger Warnings: Abuse, mentions of SA, blood, gore, character death and other sensitive topics.
Voice Actors will be expected to be comfortable with cursing, screaming, crying and more.
PLEASE ATTACH YOUR DISCORD TO YOUR AUDITION SO WE HAVE A MEANS OF CONTACT.

Hello everyone! Casting for Aula has officially closed and no more auditions will be accepted. The casting team will be reviewing all auditions soon and we hope to get back to you shortly! Thank you to all of the auditionees and best of luck!
Hello again! We have received a really great offsite audition for Participant Sixteen, and they have now been casted! Thank you to everyone who auditioned!
Hello! We have received an off-site audition for Participant Five that was really awesome! I (Sigil) have made the decision to cast the role early. Congrats to the newest VA!
It's really amazing to see some high quality auditions for all of the characters! One of our auditions for Participant Eleven REALLY stood out though, and we have made the decision to cast early! Thank you to all the auditionees, and congratulations to our newest VA!
Participant Three is a supportive leader type, he spends his time uplifting the group and encouraging them to work together. He's incredibly patient with the other participants, giving them time to work things out on their own rather than growing exasperated. His voice has a mid-to-high-pitch and he has an even and friendly tone.
(casual, friendly) Right, did everyone sleep well last night? I guess it might have been hard considering the circumstances, but hopefully you all got some rest!
(starting a meeting) Let’s get down to business, what did everyone find? Teiji, you can go first.
(uncertain) I don’t know.. something feels.. off about her but I can’t pinpoint it.
Participant Five is often lost in thought and feels as though his contributions can only be through his maps. When Participant Five's allowed the space to speak, he has great ideas and is actually a good leader. His problem is mostly thinking that he's not allowed to join in conversations. He has a rather monotonous and tired tone and surrounds himself with people who can tell him what they need him to do. He's sometimes quite clueless, usually not taking any leadership roles and following the group, but when he needs to step up, he tries his best. He speaks with a mid-to-low pitch and a reflective tone.
(awkwardly) Oh- right. What was I supposed to be doing again? I’ll finish that, right now. Sorry.
(casually enquiring, not wanting to bother) Uh, hey, Nozawa, is Kasumi going to have any breakfast? I mean, we haven’t seen him all morning. (slightly concerned) Is it his arm? I’m sure Yukinari could help?
(stressed, doubting himself) I just- I feel like I shouldn’t be here, like I shouldn’t be in this position. I have no idea what I’m doing and I.. am I even any good?
Participant Six is constantly understimulated and by proxy, bored. He speaks with a rather monotone voice and seems to have no interest in helping other people if it doesn't benefit him. He can have a rather deadpan, sarcastic tone at times and often uses phrases like "no shit" or "oh, really?". He's not very easily phased and seems to think that he himself isn't very useful to the group. He has a mid-to-low pitch and a fairly uncaring tone.
(brash, fed up) Well that’s fucking useless, then. There’s no point in any of this if we get punished for breaking the rules.
(casual, mildly bored) You want.. food? Or anything? We can head to the kitchen, I guess.
(frustrated, trying to explain something) What do you not understand?? What I’m saying is that there’s no way the killer would have had the time to hide the weapon, meaning it would still be there.
A rather short tempered girl, she’s impatient and it doesn’t take much for her to blow up at someone. When ignored, Participant Nine becomes rather sulky. As a result, she doesn’t have too many friends in the group of participants. Though she does want to help the group, she’s rather cautious of the harm that might come to her if she does. Please keep in mind that this character will swear very frequently, the actor should be comfortable with this. She has a mid-to-high pitch and an angry cadence.
(yelling) AND WHY THE FUCK WOULD I TELL YOU?!? I bet you already know everything about us, so I won’t tell you shit!
(sulky) I don’t want to talk to them. Everyone here fucking sucks.
(trying to stay mad) I don’t- why are you talking to me? I don’t want you here, Yukinari.
A rather skittish girl, she’s quiet and observant and often hides behind her friends. Participant Ten is quite sharp though, she’s usually the first to spot important details throughout the game. Generally helpful but rather meek, she doesn’t have much confidence when she speaks. Participant Ten speaks with a mid-to-high pitch and a wavery cadence.
(worried) I’m sorry! Did I- is everything- are you okay? I’m sorry. Again. Sorry.
(presenting evidence, awkwardly) I- uh, there was a knife. At the scene I mean. Um, the size matched the stab wounds, but there was no visible blood on it. I think maybe the killer wiped it onto the sheets on the shelf. That’s why there were blood streaks.
(shyly requesting) Uh.. Kobukata? I’m sorry, I know it’s the middle of the night but I kind of need to get something. Sorry.
A very straightforward girl, Participant Eleven has an exceptional memory and a penchant for keeping things organised. Participant Eleven is sick and tired of people using her for their own benefit. She speaks in a rather clipped manner and can come off as mean, though she doesn’t mean to. Participant Eleven can speak at any pitch but should speak with a rather organised, confident, authoritative tone.
(confronting) The man in the waiting room called you a doctor. Is this some sort of experiment? I haven’t consented to anything, and I believe none of the others have either. So what is this?
(suspicious, pointing out a lie) No, you said you were in the gym. You also said that Kobukata was with you, but your stories don’t match up. Where were you really?
(trying to get the story straight) We can confirm the cause of death was poisoning, right? You saw the body, so you’re sure, yes? …Ayashi?
Constantly overcompetitive, Participant Twelve is full of energy and can be extremely overbearing. Underneath the whining and shouting, she does deeply care for her friends and is scared of losing them. This character will require making active/grunting sounds. Participant Twelve has a mid-to-high pitch and a shrill tone.
(shouting, unnecessarily loud) HA! I GOT HERE FIRST! Taaaake that Akara!
(loudly, having a lightbulb moment) Ooh! I know! I know! Do you think the killer moved the body? That would explain why there was blood in the gym!
(angry) Unlike you, they were actually trying to help us get out of here! And now they’re dead because of you and you don’t even care! Fuck you!
Participant Thirteen is mysterious and nonchalant. They’re generally calm, though they can grow confused at times. Participant Thirteen is generally helpful, lending a hand during investigations and helping their fellow participants throughout the game. They have an androgynous voice and can speak at any pitch with an observant, calm tone.
(trying to recall) I think I saw him go into the kitchen, but maybe that was someone else.. Sorry, this whole thing is just kind of confusing.
(hurriedly) I- no, I don’t think so? I was with them all night, I would have noticed.
(slightly curious) No, I wasn’t. Why do you ask?
Participant Fourteen is an extremely kind and helpful girl. She’s the caretaker of the group, offering aid to anyone who might need it. She often overcompensates and believes she can always do more to help. She’s genuine and thoughtful and cares for even those in the group who don’t care for her back. She speaks with a mid-to-high pitch and a caring tone.
(enthusiastic, genuinely happy) That’s great, Teiji! I’m happy for you!
(trying to convince someone, slightly pleading) Please! I know they were a murderer, but they were still our friend, right?
(friendly) You’re talkative today! You’ve been pretty upbeat lately too! What caused this change?- (hurriedly) In a nice way, the change is good!
Participant Fifteen is constantly planning for the future and any emergencies and though they can be rather blunt, they’re extremely helpful and care deeply for the wellbeing of others. They always make sure to check and double check with everyone before moving forward and will make sure no one is left behind in the group. They have an androgynous voice and speak with a mid-to-low pitch and have a blunt but caring cadence.
(informing) You and a couple others didn’t come out of your rooms to eat, so I threw something simple together and I’m bringing it ’round. Want some?
(calm, comforting) Give them some time, this whole thing is kind of.. a lot. Honestly, I think the best we can do right now is getting to know our surroundings.
(frustrated, trying not to shout) Kasumi, are you fucking stupid!? I- why would you- Kas, that shit’ll get you into trouble. Please, I might not be able to help next time.
A very laid-back person, often joking around and attempting to cheer others up. They’re cheerful and supportive of the other participants, offering what they can to aid the investigations. They’re also extremely charming, and can usually get what they want from others easily just by being themselves. Participant Sixteen’s humour usually comprises of light hearted sarcasm and banter. They can speak at any pitch and have a joke-y, charming cadence.
(cheerful, slightly teasing) Hey! What’s up with you? Oh! You- oh my god you like them. (laughs) Admit it! You do!
(genuinely confused) Kasumi, don’t lie to me! I swear- I could have- didn’t we- what?
(horrified, distressed) What the fuck?! Who- Did- I can’t.. fuck…
The mascot of the killing game. Its voice is rather professional but with a creature-y edge. Its voice is also cold, not caring for the participants in any way. At times it can be scathing but it does provide help for things related to the game. It can have any pitch and a dramatic tone. This role will be featured in every season of this series, meaning we will need an actor willing to commit to the role.
(commencing something) Let’s get started, shall we? Welcome to The Peak. You’ve all been brought here to participate in somewhat of a game.
(announcing) Attention all participants, a body has been discovered.
(concluding) You all have voted correctly, the trial is now over and the blackened is to be executed.
Staff One is the project lead of this whole game. They’re rather apathetic towards the participants and more focussed on keeping the game on track. They have a somewhat stressed air and can get rather frustrated with their fellow staff. This role will be featured in every season of this series, meaning we will need an actor willing to commit to the role. This role is also open to any gender and any pitch, with a semi-frustrated cadence.
(stating for the record) Seeing as we’ll be moving into the facility tomorrow, I’ve decided that now would be the best time to introduce you all to the participants we’ll be managing for the next month or so.
(losing their patience) Dr. Nietani! I’d like to remind you that I’m your boss. If you fail to cooperate, I won’t hesitate to terminate your contract.
(stern) Control them. I was under the impression that you would be able to.
Staff Two is significantly warmer than his teammates, he’s rather fatherly and is the glue of the staff. He is usually the voice of reason in the group and has a calmer air. This role will be featured in every season of this series, meaning we will need an actor willing to commit to the role. Staff Two speaks at a mid-to-low pitch with a calm, fatherly cadence.
(intrigued) Oh? A fellow programmer. Well, if only I were able to meet Mr Kobukata under different circumstances, he intrigues me.
(curious) I thought the original list contained an Ultimate Psychologist, not a psychoanalyst?
(faltering for a second, coldly) I.. Do it. Why should I stop you? You’re in charge, after all, in the end, it’s your call.
