Danganronpa: Palace of Despair || Fan Made Gacha Club Series.
Project Overview
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This series is based on the Visual Novel Style of the franchise, as such, most voice acting is done in the Class Trials. If you are unsure of what I mean, please take a look at this video. This will be posted on YouTube in a Visual Novel format, but is not an actual Visual Novel! It is a video. It will have certain animated scenes, which is why it is placed in the animation category.
INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone! This is a casting call for the Fan Series, Danganronpa, The Palace of Murder. The studio that will be handling this project is Zephyr Studios! Zephyr Studios is an upcoming Gacha Studio, who strives to create content that people can enjoy! We have decided to take this Fan Danganronpa Project (Or Gachanronpa perhaps?) on because we would like to gain an audience off of a fan series to kickstart our Studio!
SERIES OVERVIEW
Danganronpa - Palace of Despair is a Fan Series, based off of the Popular Anime/Visual Novel Series, Danganronpa. 16 Students are trapped inside of a Palace, and a bear forces them to kill one another to escape. The goal is to escape the Palace without killing each other, but in the end, this fails, as shown by the three lone survivors.
AUDITIONS AND DEADLINES
The audition process will last over the course of one month. You will have a month to audition, and after that month, the roles will be cast. Information about each role can be found in the role description itself. There will be a deadline reminder sent out one week before the deadline to audition. This is a long term project that will take dedication, communication and hard work to complete. All communication will take place within the app Discord, so please leave your discord username and ID in your audition.
RULES
The most important rule is to have fun. This is not a paid project, since I’m not able to give the payment I’d like to!
Please make sure that you have time for this project. Yes, I understand if something comes up in your life that is unavoidable, but please go into this project with a good mindset, and be respectful.
Please make sure when you record your lines, there is little to no background noise.
Please do NOT attempt to mimic/impersonate any characters from the Danganronpa franchise. This project is not intended to rip-off any of the official releases, it is intended to be a fan project for fun.
Please no troll submissions, it wastes our time.
Please only audition for this project if you have at least a bit of knowledge of the danganronpa series. We will explain, but to really get into your character, possibly look up a playthrough on YouTube, and listen to it in the background, or watch a long-play! You can skip around, that's up to you.
Finally, please do not speak the text in brackets! This is exclusively for you to imagine in what context the line will be said!
CONCLUSION
I hope you will take this project into consideration, and remember, have fun with this! This is all for fun, and no ill feelings if you don’t get the role you want! Have fun, that is the only rule!
