Project Overview

[HELP WANTED] Danganronpa: Kakurega.

What happens when thirteen ordinary high school students are thrown into a killing game? Juri Kobayashi never cared much for her classmates—until the day they all vanished.

Fifteen-year-olds Juri Kobayashi and Suzuka Kōdani, best friends attending Aozora High School, are just trying to get through their freshman year when they receive an essay assignment from their teacher, Mr. Yoshitake. The topic being “Your Greatest Fear, How You Will Overcome It, and The Future.”

Then, everything changes.

The class turns in the assignments, not one person missing the big task. The morning after, Juri and her classmates awaken in a deserted city called Kakurega, with no memory of how they arrived. The streets are familiar, yet impossibly empty—no people, no signs of life. There’s no way to contact the outside world. As they search for answers, one thing becomes disturbingly clear: Kakurega is completely isolated and they are now participants in a killing game.
