Cursed MCRP VA auditions
Project Overview
I am looking for long term leading, supporting, and background voice actors for my new Minecraft Roleplay Series! If you are interested, please make sure you join my discord server if you haven’t already!
When auditioning, please include the following:
(Can be in the vocal audition, or the private comment section)
Your name
(doesn’t have to be your real name, whatever you go by.),
age,
and discord username.
Please be sure to read all character descriptions and demo lines, minimize background audio, and try your best!
Side note: if you are not casted for a specific role, you may be considered for another one with recommendation!
Voice Actor
The one who started all of this and cursed her family. Not much is known about her really.. She’s ancient. Not in like an old grandma way though.. Luckily she died young, so she’s kept her youthful looks. The village fears her, because nobody has heard her story. They’ve heard THE story, but not HER story. She’s so much more than just her scary appearance and guilty backstory. To be honest, she didn’t look scary. She was Ethereal.
1: (Bubbly) “Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you all! I truly do love this Kingdom and everyone who resides within it!”
2: (Scared, emotional) “Please, just let her live!! It was my actions, not hers! She did nothing to deserve this!”
3: (serious) “I don’t know who you are, and I don’t wish to remember.”

Voice Actor
Riley is a 17 year old boy who lives in the lively town of Kingdom Asterwyn. He has ivory skin, and copper/gingerish hair. He also wears glasses with HUGE frames to support his terrible eyesight.
Riley is a nerdy dork. That’s it, that’s his whole character.

Riley likes to build/make things! Gizmos, Gadgets, anything really! He’s pretty insecure about himself and the things he creates. But he’s trying to overcome his insecurities because his love for crafting things is how he met Mallory. Riley is pretty shy and a bit aloof.. but he’s not afraid to stand up for his friends! Or stand up to them either.
Before reading, he has a pretty nerdy personality, so try your best to lean into that when reading his line! :)
1: (Nervous) “Okay, okay!! calm down.. please! I come in peace, please don’t scream..”
2: (Annoyed, grumbled under his breath) “Yeah sure tell Mallory about the whole town since you know everything..”
3: (Angry) “I know I’m not as strong as you but that doesn’t mean I can’t protect her just as well!”

Voice Actor
Mallory is a 17 year old girl who lives a quite lonely life in a castle with her parents, and guards. She has caramel skin, and her hair is white and fades into blue. She has a black marking on her neck, and purple facial markings to indicate she’s been cursed.
Mallory can best be described as kind, curious, and gullible. She can be shy and quiet around people she just met, but can’t help but let curiosity get the best of her ! (Not having any type of interaction with other teenagers can do that to you lol) She likes to spend her time in her room reading books, playing with her cat, and talking to herself. On special occasions, Mallory can be found talking to the castle guards. The guards and her parents are the closest she’s ever gotten to other human interaction. Well besides this one time.. but she’s far too young to remember..
1: (upset) “I know he’s just trying to protect me. What is it? I know you know. What is he protecting me from? Because I know it’s not this beautiful world.”
2: (scared) Scream for as long as you can without hurting yourself
3: (curious, awkward) “I’ve never met someone my age before so im kinda totally freaking out right now..”

Johnny is a swordsmith, he makes tools with his bare hands! John is very strong. Not because his parents forced him into this lifestyle or anything. He wanted this! He wants this.
1: (Boasting) “I can make you anything! From hammers to swords, you name it! Just don’t ask me to bake anything, alright?”
2: (Sarcastic) “This little pip squeak here? Princess of Asterwyn?? Oh please!”
3: (Angry) “I never asked to be this way, so why don’t you just mind your business.”

The King! An old man with blue hair that rules the kingdom of Asterwyn.
The king is a very quiet man. He’s cautious and keeps to himself. His only priorities are his wife and his daughters. He believes if he can keep Mallory unknown, then maybe she’ll survive the curse
1: (Concerned) “Betty, will you go check up on Mallory? Her dinner has been sitting her for almost 30 minutes.. and its her favorite!”
2: (Angry) “You know why you must stay in this castle. Why do you insist on being persistent and disobedient??”
3: (Distraught) “My dear, I feel I’m not doing enough. Why can’t I keep our little girls safe..?”
“Betty, will you go check up on Mallory? Her dinner has been sitting her for almost 30 minutes.. and its her favorite!”
“You know why you must stay in this castle. Why do you insist on being persistent and disobedient??”

Nobody really knows anything about this Valora. She is a 19 year old girl who lives in Asterwyn, just like everybody else.. right?
Valora doesn’t actually live in this kingdom though. She’s not even from this world! Nobody knows this, not even Valora.
Valora was lucky enough to be taken in by Riley and his friends. She has no other family or friends besides them. Honestly? She’s just a Jane Doe.
Side note: shes not necessarily shy, but she is very quiet. and doesn’t talk much. But the demo lines will have her speaking a lot to help with casting !
“Where.. am I..? Do you attend- ah- uh.. Castle..? I’m definitely still dreaming..”
“Ben.. your garden is lovely. These are my favorite flowers..”
“Do you think I can go there too.. with you?”
Voice Actor
The Queen is a kindhearted woman who somehow manages to keep an entire kingdom running alongside her husband, while also convincing her daughter that being locked inside a castle forever is totally normal. She is affectionate, patient, and endlessly compassionate, and caring for her family and her people is her greatest priority.
She knows Mallory deserves the truth, but if telling lies means getting one more day with her daughter, she’d lie forever.
1: (Playful) “You know if you keep reading all these books, you’ll finish every book in this library before you’re even 18!”
2: (Guilty) “I know you’re curious love, but it’s so much safer here. Your father and I are doing this to protect you..”
3: (Desperate) “No no no.. there has to be another way. I won’t accept this. I will not lose my daughter like this!!”
“You know if you keep reading all these books, you’ll finish every book in this library before you’re even 18!”
