Project Overview
This project is a webseries that will be posted on Webtoon, and (hopefully) become a cartoon in the future!

Cryptids is a comedy webseries that follows Alexander, a slightly-awkward college student, as he learns more about the monsters that populate the Earth alongside humans. Currently, the project needs artists of all kinds, script writers, and voice actors to play the characters we meet and grow to love! If you have any questions regarding the specifics, please contact me! We're in early development, so there's lots of room for development, as well as more original characters!

Alexander Kirkland is the only lead character in Cryptids who is a human. He begins to learn more about the monsters that surround him when his relationship with Madeline Graves begins.
Madeline, you've been alive for thousands of years, I'm sure waiting five minutes is nothing.
I feel like mermaids and incubi having a dedicated relationship is a weird contrast, sue me.
Werewolves don't act like dogs all the time? ... This is news to me.
Madeline Graves is a vampire who's been a vampire for 63 years, and has entered a relationship with Alexander Kirkland.
I'm a vampire, being awake at three a.m. is normal for me. Why are YOU awake?
Raven Ayodele is an incubus, who is in a very committed relationship with Selene.
Demons from the fiery pits of hell can date pretty, freshwater mermaids. My world, my rules.
Selene is a freshwater mermaid who lives in a river that runs through the country side. She's serene, graceful, and kind.
Freshwater mermaids are less scary than deep sea mermaids... don't tell them I said that, though. I don't need my cousins on my bad side.
Sometimes I wish I could turn into an Akita. I feel like I'd like transforming more if I turned into an Akita.
Script Writers will be responsible for assisting me with writing one-off comics for the series, and developing an overarching plot for the series.
If you want to be a Script Writer, please submit the following:
-An excerpt from a story and/or script you have written
-Tell me in your description why you'd like to help with the project.
-Acknowledge that you will not be paid until we begin to gather revenue.

Character Designers will be responsible for assisting me with character design for the series.
If you want to be a character designer, please submit the following:
-A portfolio containing artwork of Original Characters that you have designed.
-Tell me in your description why you'd like to help with the project.
-Acknowledge that you will not be paid until we begin to gather revenue.
Say something you think would fit
Background Artists will be responsible for assisting me with backgrounds for the comic strip and, potentially down the road, backgrounds for the animated show.
If you want to be a Background Artist, please submit the following:
-A portfolio containing artwork of Original Characters that you have designed.
-Tell me in your description why you'd like to help with the project.
-Acknowledge that you will not be paid until we begin to gather revenue.
Say something you think would fit
Artists will be the Jacks of all Trades of the project, helping with storyboarding, coloring, and creating character vectors. There will be many other jobs, but those will e announced as the need comes up.
If you want to be an artist, please submit the following:
-A portfolio containing artwork you have created that adequately displays your skills.
-Tell me in your description why you'd like to help with the project.
-Acknowledge that you will not be paid until we begin to gather revenue.
