Project Overview
Daniel Cross, a grief-stricken man from Earth, is pulled into the floating kingdom of Aeratheon, a nation ruled by tradition, prophecy, and inherited bloodlines. When the reigning monarch dies, the Crown, a sentient artifact containing the voices of every past ruler, mysteriously binds itself to Daniel: a man with no royal blood, no magic, and no connection to their world.
To the kingdom, this bizarre event must fulfill prophecy. But To Daniel, it’s a cosmic mistake.But the truth is far darker.He wasn’t chosen by fate. He was selected by sabotage.
In secret, the dying King had planned to summon a noble soul from Earth as the prophecy has stated someone moral, capable, destined. But before the ritual could be completed, he was betrayed and poisoned by his trusted portal summoner, a cynical mage named Maelor Vex.
Disillusioned with prophecy, Maelor hijacked the spell.He chose Daniel on purpose, not to fulfill the prophecy, but to mock it. A broken man. A ghost walking. A nobody.
Maelor never expected Daniel to succeed. He wanted him to fail… publicly, disastrously so he could dismantle the myth of destiny and crown himself king under the banner of reason and control. Now, as the Crown’s chaotic voices flood Daniel’s mind and the kingdom teeters on rebellion, he must face a war on three fronts:
The ghosts of past rulers trying to shape him
The nobility, who would see him dead
And Maelor, who believes Daniel is the proof that no one deserves to rule
