Crossing the Line - A Sims 4 Series
Project Overview
Hello! We are looking to find voice actors for a new Sims 4 VO series called Crossing the Line! We are looking to cast 12+ characters (We are at a base of 12 characters, but we’re open to smaller characters being played by any main VAs). This will be posted on YouTube.
What is Crossing the Line?
Crossing the Line is a 10-12 episode Sims 4 VO series (still being outlined) that follows D’Angelo Agwe Étienne, a newcomer to the F1 world. His rivalry with the cocky reigning champion, Yusei Watanabe, further complicates his ascent to the top as D’Angelo must juggle his public perception, keep his crippling debt at bay, and deal with the growing tension between him and Yusei. By chance, the two find secrets about one another that evolve their competition into something more…

Bio: A hardworking man who comes from a background that required him to pull himself up by his own bootstraps. He debuted as the golden ticket for Frairer, the luxury vehicle brand. He debuted later than most racers, but he has the skill to back it up; he deserves to race alongside everyone else. He's got a well-tailored image with the public, keeping up the cool and collected image of the brand. He has a much softer side with friends and family and is rather down-to-earth due to his upbringing.
Tone: Has a smooth, deep voice, usually sounds calm and collected-- until he’s not.

Bio: The current favorite of the racing world and the star of Team Medresec, who has already brought home a Grand Prix trophy more than once. He’s been in love with racing since he was in diapers; as the heir of the Watanabe Private Investment Company, he shocked his entire family with his decision to pursue racing fully. Has been racing since he was 18 and is seen as a bit of a prodigy due to him debuting so young.
A man who has never been humble a day in his life, he claims he knows exactly who he is and wants the world to see his name before his family’s.

Bio: Kevin comes from a long line of racers and sees himself as someone with "winning in their blood". He hates that he is being overshadowed by his teammate, Yusei. He sees himself as above most people, but will do his best to hide that side of him. He has a sickly sweetness to him that can feel very doctored. He would do away with his competition if he could, Yusei included. With all he's done to get his spot (not much), he believes it is his right to be the star racer for Medresec.

Bio: D'Angelo's partner for Frairer. He's been racing for the team for a few years already. He hopes for their team to reach new heights with D'Angelo debuting with them. One of his best traits is his ability to keep a clear head in the middle of a race; he's gotten a fanbase for his calm demeanor (the Frairer brand) even when races don't go his way, but off the track he’s more of an awkward mess away from the cameras. May or may not have a thing for Yasmine.

Bio: D'Angelo's childhood friend. She's not really connected to the racing world, but she will watch a race just for D'Angelo and no one else. She is more than willing to help D'Angelo with anything, but he turns her down pretty often. She’s inherited The Owens Winery Company. She sticks out like a sore thumb, and would probably die before being found in a t-shirt.
Tone: high-pitched, sing-song, refined without sounding too uptight.

Bio: Has had the most experience out of any of the Frairer drivers. She’s been driving for 9 years and, a year prior, drove for Medresec as Yusei’s partner. She’s currently a reserve driver for Frairer. She's popular with fans and staff for being a jokester, and it's common to see her be someone to help alleviate high tension all around. She has a serious side to her that comes out when it has to do with her career.

Bio: He’s the mood-maker of any situation. A bombastic man who will bleed his own excitement out in the whole room. People love him for that, and he’s gained a lot of popularity from his banter with Henrick and Andrea. Has been in the game the longest out of anyone! He loves an underdog and will make sure everyone knows.
Tone: Hype, lively, always ready to make a joke, open to interpretation for how low or high his voice could be.
