Crossed Paths
Project Overview
Amelia Hartfield visits her hometown Elridge after her last shoot has ended. Hopefully finding a new job opportunity, but unexpectedly finds a love interest in town...
Oliver Merrick, a bookish introvert, and Amelia Hartfield, a spontaneous photographer, collide at a coffee shop, leading to an awkward yet memorable first meeting. Amelia accidentally spills coffee on Oliver’s book, and, feeling guilty, offers to replace it. They reconnect when Amelia visits Oliver’s bookstore to deliver the new book, sparking a deep, unexpected bond.

Oliver is a young man in his early twenties, with a quiet and reflective demeanor. His black hair is slightly unruly, often falling into his eyes, which are a deep, contemplative brown. He prefers to dress in simple, comfortable clothes—soft sweaters, worn jeans, and a pair of well-loved sneakers.
Oliver is the kind of person who would rather be surrounded by books than people. He has a habit of fiddling with them when he’s deep in thought or nervous. Though he’s often quiet, when he does speak, his words are thoughtful and deliberate, revealing a sharp intelligence and a deep well of knowledge. Oliver loves classic literature and obscure novels, and he spends most of his free time either reading or writing in his journal. He’s also a bit of a daydreamer, often lost in his world of stories and ideas. Despite his introverted nature, he’s fiercely loyal to Amelia and values deep, meaningful connections over small talk.
