Crit and Horney (Audio Book Passion Project)

Project Overview

My name is Newpop and my passion project is an audiobook I'm making called "Lost In Fight Forest." The CCC project is named "Crit and Horney" because I plan on making this a complete series because I really enjoy working on it and have a lot of motivation. I may not have managed a project before, but I have been part of others' projects and I'm dedicated to finishing this one so I can later move on to others.


The story follows our main character Crit, an antisocial critter cat (a species I made for this story specifically.) It's his first day at summer camp and he's finding it hard to make new friends. It takes a while but he finally makes his first friend named Horney. More time passes by and the camp counselor tells a story about a lethal place called "fight forest." Horney is intrigued by this and suggests that Crit and him venture out to discover this "fight forest." I think that's where they made their mistake...


  • I am a minor that doesn't mean people 18+ can't help, but just be cautious when talking to me and other minors incorporated in this project
  • The genre of the story consists of fiction, adventure, and possibly fantasy
  • I will write, edit, and make art for this project though if anyone else can help that would be greatly appreciated

    I've listened through all the auditions and they were amazing really. I've picked people I think fit the character the most, though you probably won't see who was casted, because I made the announcement on discord. Feel free to join the discord server for more info!
