Countless Confessions-An Animated Short
Project Overview
Main Idea: Kyle is attempting to confess his love to Lorena. Kyle never gets to profess his love to Lorena because of obstacles.
This animated short is supposed to be like a reel of all the attempts he has tried to confess to Lorena from his Sophomore year of high school to after graduation. Eventually, towards the end of the short, Kyle bumps into Lorena in public after graduation, he finally confesses to Lorena without any distractions. The big moment finally arrives! Will Lori return Kyle's feelings or shatter his hopes of being with a woman like herself?

I decided that I really didn’t know what to do with the skit so I decided to make a reel of all Kyle’s failed attempts (the corona skit will still be involved).

•Race/ethnicity: White, Hispanic/Latino
•”Species”: Demon-girl (with the ability to summon flames, shes not that strong though)
•Personality: Lorena is a semi-timid, likes to be rude, and short tempered. She is a stuckup daddy’s princess. Not much to say about her except that she's overall an a**hole.
•(not relevant to the skit but so you can understand Lori better) Lorena has always been timid but lashes out when provoked or in a bad mood. She senses that Kyle has a crush on her but has always rejected any hint he could possibly send because he simply wasn’t her type. Over time, Lori has begun to be annoyed by Kyle’s presence (hence why he keeps a distance sometimes)
Improvising lines are encouraged
SAMPLE: "Whoa! Whoa! WHooa!-...What do you think you are doing? STEP BACK! NOW!- FIVE FEET AWAY! You know what?... TWENTY FEET AWAY, DUMB***! (if you're not okay with cussing then an alternative would be "LOSER!")
SAMPLE: "I DO NOT care about a puny little love confession moment! You have my number! Just call me!"
SAMPLE: "I am going to close my eyes and count to 10. If you are not out of sight when I open them then consider yourself BLOCKED from my snapchat!"

•Voice: soft, quiet, low and gloomy
•Personality: Kyle is meek guy, Complete wallflower, Very awkward with social interactions and overall avoids contact, He’s pessimistic, and dark.
•(Not that relevant to the story but just to help understand Kyle) Whenever Kyle is around Lorena, he tends to be a lot more bright and sweet to her (sometimes coming off as creepy) even though Lorena can be very rude to him. You could say Kyle has a slight obsession with Lorena and keeps his distance. He believes Lorena is in love with him, just hard to get and doesn’t know it yet!

SAMPLE: "H-Hey, Lori! What a coincidence that we're-" (Intro/ Kyle gets interrupted by Lorena)

More about Kelly: Kelly is Kyle's twin, who is trying to push Kyle in the right direction and help him fight the obstacles so he can talk to Lorena. She is the polar opposite of her twin but are best when together! She has always been the happy and bubbly one so she can spread the love to others around her. Kelly is the mother of the group.
SAMPLE: *sighs* "Kyle, *I cannot* let you just sit there and stare at Lori! Talk to her already!...Also it's very creepy sooo don't stare at her please."
SAMPLE: "OOOO Brother, i just had the most amazing fool proof plan to get you and Lori together! Since i'm her close friend, I could- WHAT? What do you mean"no"? You hadn't even heard my plan yet!"

More about Lisa: Lisa was an foreign exchanged student from Osaka, Japan. Arriving to America with a basic limited English, K.C was the first to approach her and later introduced Lisa to Lorena. Eventually, Lisa's English improved after spending time with the girls and being taught English slang. The 3 became the ultimate trio!
SAMPLE: *Lisa is walking by Lorena and Kyle with a big plate of food and trips* "A-Ahh!..." *Parts of it land on Kyle* "Oh no...I'm so sorry, Kyle! I didn't mean to!-...Oh Hi, Lori! Did any get on you? no? great! Anyways I have to clean this up."
SAMPLE: "Hey, Lorena! Sorry to bother your conversation with Kyle but i really need someone to help me with my lines for the big play!"
