Yes it's the anime that so many of you know and love. I'm sure this has been done before and maybe even done to death but I figured why not jump on this. This was the series that I actually started voice acting in so coming full circle and doing the whole thing just seemed right.
We might also do After Story and we will definitely be doing the Tomoyo and Kyou episodes.
Now then - heres a little synopsis straight from MAL!
Okazaki Tomoya is a delinquent who finds life dull and believes he'll never amount to anything. Along with his friend Sunohara, he skips school and plans to waste his high school days away.
One day while walking to school, Tomoya passes a young girl muttering quietly to herself. Without warning she exclaims "Anpan!" (a popular Japanese food) which catches Tomoya's attention. He soon discovers the girl's name is Furukawa Nagisa and that she exclaims things she likes in order to motivate herself. Nagisa claims they are now friends, but Tomoya walks away passing the encounter off as nothing.
However, Tomoya finds he is noticing Nagisa more and more around school. Eventually he concedes and befriends her. Tomoya learns Nagisa has been held back a year due to a severe illness and that her dream is to revive the school's drama club. Claiming he has nothing better to do, he decides to help her achieve this goal along with the help of four other girls.
As Tomoya spends more time with the girls, he learns more about them and their problems. As he attempts to help each girl overcome her respective obstacle, he begins to realise life isn't as dull as he once thought.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Yes, I'm going to be strict about this. I assure you the three roles that have been pre-casted have met these requirements and I'm pushing them forward for all auditions here.
1. Must MUST have a good quality mic. Consistency is key. I want to make this sound as good as possible, so please no buzzing, bad quality, background noise, or loud puffs when speaking.
2. Must be commited. This is a full series dub. We're going to see it through till the end and I need all my cast to have the same mindset.
3. Must be prepared to enjoy yourself. This is a cliche requirement, but honestly it's a big one. We're doing this for fun when it comes down to it, so have fun.
-SKYPE NAME RECOMMENDED-
This isn't a requirement obviously, but I will be opening up a group chat on Skype so everyone can keep in contact and get to know eachother. I'll be asking for your email address as well just incase, but the scripts for each episode will be sent to the group as well as individually. You'll just be asked for information if you're casted. If you'd like to get a skype name for this, would be awesome and totally free.

Ryou, the class rep of Tomoya's class, is a very shy girl. Her voice is quiet and high pitched as she gets easily emotional and flustered.
W-well then! I'll read your fortune for tomorrow! Fortune telling is my hobby after all.
I said...I said I'm Okazaki...And I've become a girl!
You can't do that sis! It's not nice to throw a gift!
Sanae, Nagisa's mother, is a very emotional woman. She has a soft and soothing motherly voice and she carries her words strongly. She'll be excited and proud one second and the next when something of her's is insulted or put down she'll be heavily emotional and effected by it.
That's this week's special! Try one if you'd like! The concept for it is "Soothing"
My bread....My bread is....It's natural that there'd be leftovers!? [Crying]
This is a slightly sort of narrator-esque character. The emotions should be on the mysterious side and this part can be played by either a higher pitched male or a female.
This is a world that has ended. Nothing is born; nothing dies--Even time does not exist.
My being has yet to be born in this world.
Kotomi is the 'school genius' but she is very hard to interact with, being quite timid. Her voice is almost drifty as if she's not all there. Make sure it isn't too high pitched though, it's on the slightly deeper side.
For that, I played a lullaby for you, Tomoya.
I've never taken anyone down with this violin. I'm sure.
Day before yesterday I saw a bear, and yesterday a deer, and today, you.
Nagisa, the main female, is a very sweet and innocent girl. Her voice is a bit on the shy side, but it's clear she puts forth the effort with everything she says. Her tone is a bit of a higher-mid tone.
Fun things...Happy things...They can't all possibly stay unchanged. Even so, can you go on loving this place?
If you like shall I take you to a place in town where wishes come true?
Well, you know, I think love can come in different forms for different people. I mean, in the end, who are we to say that one love is more right than wrong than another? [Laughs nervously.] I'm babbling here, Okazaki! You say something, too!
A former band member, Yoshino's words are poetic. As is with many characters in this show, he says each thing with serious conviction. His voice should be in the deeper side, but soft as fitting for a former vocalist.
I want you to reflect on this one day and think if what the electrician said that day was true or false.
Aren't you, perhaps, feeling lonely? Aren't you, perhaps, living slavishly? Are you able to laugh with an honest heart?
Akio is the very charismatic father of Nagisa. His speech is very confident and loud and his voice is on the mid to deeper side. This role needs to exude charisma with what he's saying. He's got a booming, loud personality.
You said the words you shouldn't have. You should have just stuffed it down and said it was good! That's your duty as a human being!
Haha! As you can see we can already throw harsh jokes at one another!
We didn't give up on our dreams! We changed our dream into your dream! That's what parents do!
Misae -the dorm manager- is a strong, but slightly motherly woman. Her voice is mature with a bit of an attitude in the tone. Her voice and threats can rush the entire Rugby team out of the dorms so keep that in mind when auditioning for her.
Geez! I'm the one who has to hear the complaints from all the neighbors!
You're at fault as well! It seems like even after that you'll never learn your lesson.

This is a spot for people to just put themselves out to volunteer as extras such as minor one scene characters or just little background voices. People who aren't casted will more than likely also be brought on to be extras!
Improv some stuff!
Fuko is at heart a child-like character. Her words always come out as silly, but she says them with conviction, never actually making jokes out of them. She is like this all up until she's entranced by her starfish as to when she goes into a daydreamy like state. She should have a younger, mid to high pitched voice.
This? This is my....my favorite....haaaaaa [gradually daydreaming happily]
I don't understand! How did you become a girl all of a sudden?! That-That just isn't possible!
I like you better than a sea slug. I like the sea slug fairly well, so you should be glad.
Youhei's energetic little sister. She should have a child-like tone to her voice and the tone should be cheerful.
I can't believe it. Is it true? My brother came out of the closet and he already has a boyfriend?
Please don't involve me in your perverse incest fantasies! Besides, I said I'm playing Cupid, not that I'm in love with someone!
Kyou is a strong, loud character. She defends her sister Ryou with all she's got and she isn't afraid to yell or get violent. Her voice should be on the mature side and have a presence.
Why are you believing him!? It's 'bike' he meant 'bike'! We were talking about the scooter!
Ryou and I got up at 5am to make this. You'll eat it won't you?
Don't worry. If you do well then everything will be ok.
