Choujin X Dubs
Project Overview
We're big fans of Sui Ishida's work (guy who also did Tokyo Ghoul) and we're looking for VA to voice some Choujin X related content.
Whether it be actual scenes from the manga (we legally can't dub it all together lol), memes, or fancomics, we'll try to dub it.
This is very much so being done to support Ishida and his latest masterpiece so, this is very much so a non-for-profit!
If you're interested in joining the project, we'd recommend that you take a look at Morning Star Studio's cast spreadsheet and go into the anime section (not yet an anime, but saves us from making another category) to see which roles have been taken. Once you've made a pick, or even if you aren't interested please consider joining our discord!
At the time of posting this none of our roles have been taken! (Though, I have been eyeing some of them myself... :3).
It's greatly preferred that you've taken a look at Choujin X already but, if you haven't that's fine. It just means one more person to info dump about the series to!

Tokio Kurohara is a 16 year old, laid-back, not caring at all for his classes and seemingly having no motivation to stand out in some way. He doesn't stand out much at all, mostly standing in the shadow of his best friend Azuma Higashi.
He's the Vulture Choujin, one who takes the scraps of others for himself.

"When Azuma’s popular… it makes me *me* feel popular too!" I cannot describe this as anything other than :D
"Somehow… Somehow it feels like… If I don't do right now… we… won't be friends anymore." In this scene, Tokio finds himself and Azuma injecting eachother with the XEMBER serum to transform in Choujin in order to save themselves from near death.
"...What would be to my benefit?" Contemplating his life decisions up until this point, Tokio finds himself unable to his dream; for he lacks one.
Azuma Higashi is essentially the kid you thought was cool when you were a kid. He's a teen with a strong sense of justice, good grades, and some black belt in kicking ass. He's the Iron Choujin because of these traits.

Ely was raised in a poor farming village cultivating "tomaytos", she's a teenage girl who's greatest wishes are to become rich, a 'ginormous' house, a big 'ol dog, and a 'handsome goldilocks hubbie.'
While flying off to a tomayto growing competition, the plane Ely was on was attacked by Chandra the smoke choujin. Ely somehow managed to survive and found herself now with the same powers as Chandra, now fighting as a member of Yamato Mori to try and prevent more senseless violence..

Chandra is a man with a short temper. He has some form of class, seeing himself as more elegant in comparison to others.
Though, he's able to put all of these traits aside for the one who leads him, Sora Siruha.
As a member of the Tower of Mourning, he seeks to carry out the will of his "mother.
