Project Overview
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Reimagined is an ambitious collaborative project aimed at reanimating Tim Burton's 2005 film adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic tale. Inspired by other projects such as Shrek Retold and the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Rehydrated, this reanimated collab will blend various artistic styles and interpretations, bringing fresh perspectives to the beloved characters and scenes. We are seeking talented artists and animators to contribute their unique styles and skills to this exciting.
We are looking for skilled voice actors, music composers and many others to join our creative team for this reanimated collaboration. Participants will be responsible for recreating and reinterpreting scenes, characters, and elements from the 2005 film, each bringing their personal flair and artistic vision to the project.

This is the story of an ordinary little boy named Charlie Bucket. He was not faster, or stronger, or more clever than other children. His family was not rich, or powerful, or well-connected… in fact, they barely had enough to eat. Charlie Bucket was the luckiest boy in the entire world- he just didn’t know it yet.
In fact, it wasn’t like a vacation at all. The uprise in candy sales had led to a rise in cavities, which led to a rise in toothpaste sales. With the extra money, the company decided to modernize, employing a machine to screw caps, thus eliminating Mr. Bucket’s job.
In the end, Charlie Bucket won a chocolate factory, but Willy Wonka got something even better- a family. And one thing was absolutely certain… life had never been sweeter.
Willy Wonka is the eccentric and mysterious owner of the world-renowned Wonka Chocolate Factory. His quirky personality and whimsical demeanor often leave others puzzled. He dresses in vibrant, outlandish outfits, embodying his offbeat and imaginative character. Despite his odd behavior, Wonka has a deep passion for candy and a profound wisdom hidden beneath his flamboyant exterior.

Grandpa Joe is Charlie’s spirited and supportive grandfather. Though elderly and bedridden, he remains lively and full of stories about Wonka’s factory. His youthful enthusiasm and love for Charlie motivate him to accompany his grandson on the factory tour.

The entire palace melted away in the course of an hour. It was all Prince Pondicherry could do to escape with his life and not drown in liquid chocolate! Soon after, he sent an urgent telegram to Mr. Wonka in request of a new palace. But Willy Wonka was facing problems of his own. All the other candy makers, you see, had grown jealous of Mr. Wonka. They began sending in spies to steal his secret recipes.
Mr. Wonka, I don't know if you remember me, but I used to work here in the factory.
Mrs. Bucket is Charlie Bucket’s mother, known for her loving and supportive nature. Despite the family’s financial struggles, she works hard to care for her family and maintain a hopeful outlook. Her nurturing demeanor and resilience are central to her character, as she strives to keep her family united and positive.

Violet is a competitive and boastful girl obsessed with chewing gum and breaking records. She is driven and relentless, often bragging about her accomplishments. Her overconfidence and lack of self-awareness are her downfall.

My little Veruca got more and more upset every day. She just kept begging me.
Well, gentlemen, I just hated to see my little girl unhappy like that. I vowed I would keep up the search until I could give her what she wanted.
Ah, this is a room I know all about! You see, Mr. Wonka, I am in the nut sorting business.
Mr. Teavee is Mike Teavee’s father. He is portrayed as somewhat passive and overwhelmed by his son's obsession with television and technology. His character reflects a lack of control over Mike’s behavior and a tendency to be easily influenced by Mike's demands.
