Casting Call - Wings of Fire Full Cast Audiobook (The Dragonet Prophecy)
Project Overview
Hey, guys! I've decided to create a full cast audiobook for the first installment of the Wings of Fire Series by Tui T. Sutherland (Book 1: The Dragonets of Destiny). I need a responsible and on-time cast who're willing to commit to the series. In order to audition, you must have the app Discord and an email account. Note that this project will be posted on Youtube. Anyway, good luck auditioning and if you have any questions feel free to PM me!

You must be on time and responsible if you are the narrator, as you have the most lines. You also must have a good mic.
Clay pulled himself out of the river, his waterlogged wings heavy and drooping. He spread them in front of one of the torches, arching his neck and trying to get warm. Feeble waves of heat wafted against his scales.
He didn't know how long he swam through the dark, twisting channel, but after a while his chest began to hurt. He had never actually tried holding his breath for an entire hour before. The dragonets only knew he could because that's what it said about MudWings in a couple of scrolls.
Burn should have a sinister and menacing voice. Try to be creative with her.
"So, IceWing. Is this egg a part of your pathetic prophecy?" (Amused)
"Even if they do- it'll be far too late for you." (hiss, sinister)
"That should be the last we hear about that stupid prophecy."
English accent is optional.
"Haven't enough dragons died for your war?" (angry, snarl)
"No!" (Cry, exclaim)
"You wouldn't.
"It can't be. Tomorrow is the brightest night. The three moons will all be full for the first time in a century. The dragonets of prophecy HAVE to hatch tomorrow." (disbelief)
"I'll find us a fifth dragonet." (determined)
"We have to do something!"
"The Talons of Peace? You mean they're real?" (surprised)
"He was carrying this, Queen Burn."
“These dragonets? Then he’s going to be very disappointed.” (scoff)
“You overestimate her because you brought her here. She’s lazy and worthless like the rest of her tribe.” (growl)
“Tsunami, hold your tongue.” (Snap)
Needs a deep, somewhat of menacing voice
“What. Is. THAT?” (roar)
“Are you supposed to be the SandWing? Don’t you eat? What’s wrong with you?”
“This one will do.” (impressed)
Needs a deeper voice
"Oh, yes? Which opponent would you prefer, the stunted SandWing or the lazy RainWing?"
"STOP YAMMERING AND GET DOWN HERE!" (annoyed, roaring)
"WHAT is going on in here?" (booming voice)
Needs a deep male voice. Clay is very loyal and protective.
“Well, we don’t care what the prophecy says or what Morrowseer thinks.” (firm, loyal)
“Surely he said something about what a great and noble dragon you must be because you’re a NightWing.” (Somewhat sarcastic)
“We don’t have any more time.”
Needs a bossy female voice
“When we’re free- when my family hears about this- when the rest of the world finds out how you treated the dragonets of destiny-“
“Really? What else are you going to do to me?” (challenging)
“I don’t think most dragons get this excited about being so dirty,” (amused)
Needs a somewhat nerdy male voice
“Right. He’ll hear you thinking all your big, loud, worried thoughts.” (amused)
“Follow the current. Don’t leave the river. If it goes out into the world anywhere, the current should take you there.”
“Morrowseer saw you flying up from the marshes."
Needs a sarcastic female voice
“I'm not acting like a martyr. I’m trying to make sure nobody gets killed for no reason.” (defensive)
“Ha. You’d be a lot more likable if you ever did forget anything.”
"It's a metaphor, featherbrain."
Needs a sweet, innocent female voice.
“I don’t think EVERYTHING is exciting” (protest)
“Why are you doing this? Tsunami’s the good one! She’s wonderful! If anyone can save the world, it’s her.” (cry, exclaim)
“Wow. I mean, I knew you could, but… I’d never…” (impressed, astonished)
