Casting Call for Cymbeline High | Minecraft Roleplay
Project Overview
Cymbeline Productions:
We are a starter content creation channel on YouTube that dreams of making cinematic Minecraft roleplays.
Cymbeline High Summary:
Cymbeline High follows a young girl named Venus, whose parents are transferring her to a boarding school. Cymbeline High is a place for her to get a new start. However, when settling into Cymbeline High, Venus notices a familiar face has come back to haunt her. Venus has to prove her innocence when she looks like she's the one to blame.
Requirement:
To audition for this project, you should be fourteen or older, have a Discord account, and have a clear microphone.
Discord will be the main form of communication if you are cast. Also, please include your Discord name and tag with your audition.
Notice:
This series' intended audience is teenagers and will contain slight swearing as well as mature themes such as violence, depression, and trauma. If you are uncomfortable with any of these themes, consider not participating in this project.

Character Description:
August is a junior who is a star athlete at Cymbeline High. His popularity, combined with his girlfriend, Chloe's popularity has made them a campus couple. Although many of his peers love their relationship, some of them don't understand why someone so nice is with someone like Chloe.

Character Description:
Chloe is a junior at Cymbeline High who has a twin sister named Zoe. Chloe is the more outgoing sibling who participates in many of the school activities. Additionally, Chloe's relationship with August, a popular school athlete, has made them the school's favorite couple. However, some of the students see Chloe as very ill-mannered.

Character Description:
Calian is a junior at Cymbeline High who is a popular athlete. Although he is not a people-person, he is amazingly good with people. His ability to be very outgoing while also being strong has earned him the title of alpha.

Character Description:
Everest is a junior who is known for being a class clown. He has gained popularity for his goofy behavior and for actively going to school events. Additionally, he has the status of being the school player, dating as many girls as he can.

Character Description:
Iniko is a sophomore at Cymbeline High who is recognized as a nerd for being very academically driven. Outside of his studies, Iniko spends most of his time with werewolves, despite being a warlock.

(Content/Slightly Annoyed) "You need to copy my witchcraft homework again? I don't understand how you're failing that class since you come from such a famous family. You know, if you keep doing this, I'm going to make you start paying me."
Character Description:
Lance is a sophomore who happens to be the omega at Cymbeline High. Lance will do anything to impress Alpha Calian and prove he deserves a higher status. However, his attempts come off as annoying and desperate to many of the other students.

Character Description:
Warin is a junior at Cymbeline High who has the position of beta. He is Awan's right-hand man, making him the second-in-command of the werewolves. Warin is the quiet friend, which makes him come off as nonchalant to many of his peers. However, his silence has become a handy skill for learning information about others.

Character Description:
Noah is a sophomore who is known for being a spoiled student. Noah has a famous family in the world of technology. His family helps fund the school, which allows Noah to have many privileges at Cymbeline High despite being known to skip and have bad grades.

Character Description:
Bimala is a junior at Cymbeline High who is a social butterfly that loves volunteering. Her will to help has made her an active person in the school community. Many of Bimala's peers seek her out for advice because she doesn't condone drama and believes matters should be settled through a peaceful approach.
Vocal Preference:
We're looking for a light, pleasant voice to reflect Bimala's bubbly personality.
(Content/Serious) "I think you should give her a chance; I believe everyone should have a moment to defend themselves. If she does turn out to be a liar, at least you'll have it confirmed."
(Confident) "With everything going on right now, I think we should start our own club to promote kindness and community. Bringing everybody together might help us the mole."
Character Description:
Tu is a sophomore at Cymbeline High who is often quiet with people with whom she is not acquainted, which makes her appear nonchalant to her peers. However, Tu has a kind and comedic personality, which she only reveals to friends. She likes to keep her inner circle small as a way to protect herself.

(Content) "You know I always kept to myself because people disappointed me; but when I met you, my borders were already down. You are my first best friend."
Character Description:
Minjun is a junior at Cymbeline High who is a popular student for her participation in school activities and performance in sports. She is seen as a kind individual by most of her peers, but some have seen the petty and rude side of her. When rumors arise about her, she typically makes it everybody's issue.
Vocal Preference:
We're looking for someone who can portray a wide range of emotions. Minjun is a character that gets into many tough situations; her voice should clearly communicate her emotions.
(Argumentative/Angry) "Why are you acting like this whole situation is my fault? She was the one who started this. If you're not going to take my side, then leave; I don't need you."
(Ashamed/Regretful) "No, I stopped participating in all the drama. I realized how awful I was being, and I regret what I said to you. Are you willing to forgive me?"
Character Description:
Lucy is a sophomore at Cymbeline High. She is an introvert who spends most of her time in the school dormitory. When she is energetic, she will meet up with her childhood best friends, Legend and Amanda. However, they are in a relationship with one another, so Lucy tends to feel like a third wheel. She is on a journey to become more confident and gain new friendships.
Vocal Preference:
N/A (Note: Lucy does gain a love interest throughout this series. If romantic dialogue makes you uncomfortable, I don't advise this character for you.)
(Content/Slightly Nervous) "I do have a crush on someone, but you guys can tell anyone. I don't even know her name, but she sits across from me in art class, and she's just gorgeous."
(Saddened) "Me and her have barely talked since the photo was leaked. I would definitely help you guys find out who did this, but I don't think I'm in the right state of mind currently."
Character Description:
Legend is a junior at Cymbeline High who is very popular for her numerous wins in sports. That, combined with her confident personality and leader mentality, has gained her many followers and made her the constant face of the school news. Outside of sports, Legend enjoys spending time with her partner, Amanda.

(Angry) "Why do you always do this? I know that we weren't friends in the past, but I thought we were over this drama. You need to grow up."
Character Description:
Amanda is a junior who is a very sweet student, although some of their peers find them somewhat intimidating. Amanda is the romantic partner of Legend, and they usually join the same clubs and sports that Legend does. Despite that, a personal enjoyment of Amanda is computer programming, and they actually run the computer club at Cymbeline High.

We're looking for someone who can perform with a scratchy and hoarse voice.
(Serious) "Don't trust her; we tried to befriend her in the past, and we then realized how problematic she was. When we confronted her about it, she turned everybody against us. Trust me; she is two-faced."
Character Description:
Amelia is a sophomore at Cymbeline High who loves drama and gossip. She chooses to be alone, spending most of the time watching others from the background. Even though she isolates herself, she is not shy. She uses her position to blackmail others.
Vocal Preference:
We're looking for an elegant voice that reflects class and high society but can become brittle in the moments Amelia is angered.
(Playful/Mischievous) "Wow, are you really going to let her talk to you like that? Personally, I wouldn't have let her walk away; you know I could help you get revenge. That's what you're thinking about, right?"
(Angry) "If you thought for one second that I had forgiven you, you're more stupid than I thought. I hoped every day for you to fail. I lost every opportunity because of you, and now it's your turn to face the same."
Character Description:
Principle Sana is a witch who has supervised Cymbeline High for generations. She has a clear view of how she wants her institution to be run, which is why harsh punishments are given to students who do not follow the rules that she has established. Her way of administering her school comes from a place of traditional views that she believes will prepare her students to be successful adults.
Vocal Preference:
We're looking for a mature voice that can reflect the wisdom of age without sounding like a stereotypical elderly woman.
(Serious) "For coming from such a prestigious background, you sure lack a lot; however, in my eyes, every broken thing can be fixed. If you follow my guidance, I'm sure a great future awaits you."
(Slight Anger) "After all the mentorship and excuses I have given with little improvement on your side, I will have to expel you from this institution. You could've done amazing things here."
Character Description:
Amber is the mother of Venus. She is a businesswoman who has always wanted her daughter to run the family company, but ever since Venus became more rebellious, she doesn't know what to do with her only heir. Amber takes pride in the family name, so she is saddened by her daughter's choices.
Vocal Preference:
We're looking for someone with a mature and stern voice. In most of Amber's scenes, she is arguing with Venus, so I need somebody who can mimic a mother-daughter argument.
(Serious/Stern) "I don't know why you changed you; I honestly thought this was just a phase, but now you're taking this too far. You're going to be the next president of Ricardo Diamond Corp."
(Angry) "When I was your age, I was at the top of my class and respected by my peers. I was able to do that because I did what I was told; your issue is that you don't listen!"
Character Description:
Liam is a junior at Cymbeline High. He is a member of the student council and organizes many campus events, which has made him very popular. Despite this, he chooses to keep to himself because he knows how gossipy his peers are.

(Mellow) "You should keep your head down around here; the whole school craves drama. If people see you as a target, your time here will be miserable."
(Serious) "Sorry, but I'm not going to participate in this stupid scandal. I'm on student council, so I can't spend time helping you."
Character Description:
Zoe is a junior at Cymbeline High who has a twin sister named Chloe. Unlike Chloe, Zoe is extremely shy and only has one friend in the entire school. Even though Zoe is shy, she is trying to become more social by working as a library assistant.

(Shocked/Nervous) "What! I'm not allowed to show you other students' recorders; this can get all of us in trouble. Why are you even trying to look?!"
Character Description:
Yuna is a junior at Cymbeline High. She is an active student in multiple clubs and sports while also being the head of the student council. Because of her busy schedule, Yuna is always on the run.
