Season 4 after waking up under the influence of Link Joker, Aichi is show to have become cold and cruel under its effects, striking Kourin and Philippe Neve with his dark power. He also fought ruthlessly during his cardfight against Kai, showing determination to be sealed away again. At that time, he felt that there was no other way to save Earth and Cray from Link Joker other than to disappear from the world. However, he had a slight change of heart when he realized that everybody was willing to take his burden in order to end his misery of being the host of the Seed. He had also shown more care and concern towards Kourin, during the times when she tried to take more of his agony and when he saved her from the Link Joker miasma. His wish to prevent the incident from happening again was apparent as he was able to hold back Link Joker for a prolonged time despite the clan's efforts to break his soul and body. After his fate was changed by his friends and Planet Cray, he was able to relieve his burdens of the future.

In Season 4, he starts to open up more and becomes friendlier than he was in the previous seasons. He also considers to keep his mates out of danger that shows he cares about his friends (Mates).

Calm and collected, she thinks carefully especially when it comes to Cardfight. Reserved and often never talking to anyone other than Shin or Manager though she is opening herself to talking to others. She is quite sullen when it comes to maintaining peace in Card Capital.

Kamui, who has lost his memory regarding anything related to Aichi, is revealed after an intra-shop tournament that he feels like something's missing; he then decides he needs a challenging fight after cardfighting many "weak players" after following advice from Gouki. Gouki then tells him of a really strong cardfighter, Kai Toshiki, stating that he has never won against him before. Kamui then heads to Hitsue High to fight Kai, only for Naoki to fight him instead after Kamui bad-mouths Aichi, whom he has no memory of. During the cardfight Kamui began to have fuzzy images of Aichi after Naoki tried to call out to him several times. Still, it was only until Naoki activates his Legion and defeats Kamui does he remember who Aichi is.

Naoki is first introduced when he sees Kai entering the physics room. He then encounters Kai again curious about Kai, having forgotten Aichi too. Kai then challenges Naoki to a cardfight when he notices Naoki is getting a reaction when he saw the deck. When Kai rides Blaster Blade he sheds tears remembering Aichi and vows to find him

"Olivier Gaillard" is one of the four members of the Quatre Knights. He is the former European Circuit Champion and provided assistance with the eradication of Link Joker. He was manipulated along with Ratie Curti and Philippe Neve into trying to stop the protagonists from finding and awakening Aichi Sendou by Raul Serra. The color of his Vanguard Circle is dark blue.

Raul Serra is the main human antagonist of Season 4 and a defected member of the Quatre Knights. He is the South American Circuit Champion, and is considered to be a top world-class fighter. He manipulated the protagonists and the other Quatre Knights so he could release the reversed Aichi's seals to fight him and inherit the seed of Void to conquer both Earth and Cray.

"Philippe Neve" is one of the four members of the Quatre Knights. He is the former European Circuit Champion after losing it to Olivier Gaillard, the current champion, and provided assistance with the eradication of Link Joker. He was manipulated by Raul Serra along with Olivier and Ratie into trying to stop the protagonists from finding Aichi.

Ratie Curti is one of the four members of the Quatre Knights. A famous Indian cardfighter from Central Asia who is often disqualified from her matches because of her love of donuts, as she tends to prefer eating donuts instead of attending her battles. In spite of this, various world-class fighters including Kenji Mitsusada acknowledge her skills, earning her the nickname "Uncrowned Witch". She was manipulated by Raul Serra along with Neve and Gaillard into trying to stop the protagonists from finding Aichi.

In the beginning of Season 4, evidence of her absence is shown in magazines and concerts in the first few episodes. Little to no people seem to remember her so it is presumed that she had disappeared like Aichi. The only individuals who specifically know her are Kai and Misaki, who has her hairband. However, in episode 176, she reappears and is apparently assisting the Quatre Knights in keeping Kai's group away from Aichi. She fights Kai in Gaillard's place.

While looking for Aichi, Kai decides to seek Ren assuming Ren to be a Mate. Much to his disappointment, Ren doesn't even attempt to remember Aichi brushing Blaster Blade off as just a unit that looks like Blaster Dark, though Ren is concerned for his friend and hopes he can find who he is looking for. In episode 169, Kai suspects Ren was holding back some information about Aichi.

In season 4, Leon agrees to train Naoki and the others on his island. However, Kai confronts him and quickly realizes that he remembers Aichi and says he has decided to wait before taking action. While training, he chooses to stop fighting Naoki until he reaches a small islet nearby. After Naoki and Kamui succeed in reaching the small islet, Naoki challenges Leon again with his new Brawler deck. However, he still loses but Leon says that is where his strength lies.

It's worth noting that while Ren inially feigned amnesia to abide Aichi's request, Leon made no such attempt, and readily agrees to Naoki's plea. This would suggest that Leon doesn't agree with Aichi's actions, and maybe even considers them foolhardy. There is also the possibility that Leon is even somewhat angered by Aichi's almost careless disregard for his friends and decision to stay alone, potentially viewing it as hypocritical, as it's a situation and frame of mind that Leon used to be in, and now realises is folly.

In episode 187, he and Ren came to the Sanctuary to aid Kai and Gaillard, but how they got there is unknown.

He is a friend of Toshiki Kai; they have been friends since they were young and he is Kai's only friend. (However, this plot seems to have been amended in Neon Messiah, with the appearance of another childhood friend, Kouji Ibuki.) He understands Kai and plays Cardfight with him. Unlike Kai, he's much nicer and friendly to people, and loves to joke. He also goes to the same school as Kai.

hinemon Nitta, more popularly known as Shin Nitta, is the uncle of Misaki Tokura, and in the Cardfight!! Vanguard anime and manga, he is the manager of the first Card Capital store. He is knowledgeable about the Cardfight!! Vanguard card game, and teaches customers new to the game when he is available. He acts Team Q4's coach during the Japan National Tournament and VF Circuit.

When Kai goes to Card Capital to find out no one remembers Aichi. He sees her cardfighting Mai and asks her about her brother, Emi responds by saying she's an only child, shocking Kai.

In episode 175, she makes a cameo appearance at the beginning of the episode cardfighting Mai. When Shin asks her who got her into playing vanguard, she remembers it was someone in her family, but is unable to recall exactly who, due to her memories of Aichi being erased.
