📺 About the Project
Title: Cardcaptor Sakura in a Nutshell
Format: ~14-minute episodes
Style: Faithful rewrite first, parody tweaks later
Coverage: Original series, movies, and Clear Card
Tone: Respectful to the original, with room for humor later
This project keeps the original episode structure and filler, while rewriting dialogue so it fits timing and can later be adjusted into parody text.
✍️ What Script Writers Will DoScript writers will:
Rewrite dialogue from Cardcaptor Sakura episodes
Keep scenes, filler, and character interactions intact
Rewrite lines in original wording (do not copy official dub scripts)
Adjust dialogue so it:
fits timing and lip flaps
sounds natural when spoken
Do NOT combine multiple characters’ dialogue into one line
Prepare scripts that can later be tweaked into parody-style dialogue
This is rewriting and adapting dialogue, not heavily cutting or restructuring episodes.
🧪 Audition TaskPlease write a short script sample based on Episode 1 of Cardcaptor Sakura.
Your sample should include:
Sakura discovering the Clow Book
The book opening and Windy escaping
Kero explaining the situation
Keep the scene order and filler moments
Rewrite dialogue in your own words
Do not copy Animax, Canadian, or any official dub scripts
Tone should be faithful (parody is optional at this stage)
1–2 pages is enough.
