Calm Meditative Voice for Short Film (Soothing / Hypnotic Tone)

Calm Meditative Voice for Short Film (Soothing / Hypnotic Tone)

Project Overview

Voice Acting Task

We are looking for a calm, soothing voice for a short meditative audio featured in a key scene of the film.

The tone should feel like a guided meditation or therapeutic session:

  • Slow, relaxed pacing

  • Soft and controlled delivery

  • Reassuring and immersive (almost hypnotic)

  • Natural, not overly “performed”

The voice should remain sincere and grounded, even as the situation in the scene becomes slightly absurd.

Length & Recording:

  • Final voice-over is short (approximately 2–3 minutes)

  • Recording can be done fully remotely (home setup is perfectly fine)

  • Audio can be delivered via a download link (WAV or high-quality MP3)

Story

Sorry Miss, I Ate Your Mousse is a short student film currently in post-production.

The story follows Herb, a perfectionist waiter, and Leo, a chef who struggles to control himself around chocolate. When a mysterious customer insists on ordering a chocolate mousse — something the restaurant refuses to serve — the situation quickly spirals, putting both of them under pressure.

As the tension builds, Leo turns to a meditative audio to resist his cravings, creating a calm contrast to the growing chaos around him.

The film blends subtle comedy with controlled tension, using rhythm, silence, and performance to create a precise and immersive atmosphere.
