Project Overview
"It's June 24th of 2025—Connor's birthday. But.. Everyone seems to have forgotten. And when things seem like they can't get any worse, his boyfriend, Imani, has been captured! Joined by an unlikely band of allies, Connor must travel the Kingdom of Cyrellia, commencing battle to reach the Tower of Evil and save his boyfriend. Does he have what it takes?"
Cake Quest of '25: The Tower of Evil is a game concept that I came up with as an idea for a birthday gift for my boyfriend, Connor. As such, it will otherwise neither be sold nor distributed. Cover art courtesy of a friend (their handle will not be provided for privacy reasons).

Audio Engineer
Your task is to curate a list of sound effects, either from a sound library, YouTube, or whatever your source may be, or if you would like to go the extra mile, you may also create original sound effects of your own! Don’t concern yourself so much about copyright given that the game will neither be sold nor distributed (because it's a gift for someone as well as that the soundtrack is also full of copyrighted songs). As for specific sound effects, a list will be provided. Please make sure to use the .wav file format.

Artist
In Cake Quest (or likely any other game), all areas equate to levels with the exception of the neighborhood. These, however, need respective design mockups, to free either myself or my co-director to only need to sculpt maps rather than come up designs spontaneously.
Your task is to work independently or in collaboration with the individual(s) responsible for puzzle design as well as environmental asset art to brainstorm ideas for level layouts, and quirks, and draw up drafts for stage layout.
