C2TT OCT: The Knight & the Dragon Round #2

Project Overview

Stellartoons here! This casting call is part of a cooking themed Original Character Tournament hosted on Twitter and Discord called Chop 2 the Top where artists are paired, compete against each other and ultimately collaborate to tell a story in the established setting. There isn’t a grand prize in the tournament besides being part of a neat community of artists.


The Tournament and roles will take place until July 24, 2022.


The entries I’m working on feature my characters Maribel the Baker Knight and Chanterelle the lizard Shroomancer- as well as a few other original characters from the tournament! It's made in a video format with a style reminiscent of visual novels or RPG video games and inspired by TTRPG shows like Thrilling Intent and Epithet Erased.

  • Chop 2 the Top Casting in Progress!

    Hello everyone! Thanks for the awesome turnout this round! I'll be going through the auditions through the week and will come to a decision by the end of it! Scripting is still underway for the round so thank you so much for the patience and understanding, I may not be able to get to respond to everyone as I keep busy to stay on schedule, but thank you so much for all the great auditions! Voice: A shrill cackling voice befitting of a witch. Range from jovial to cooky and maybe a little creepy or menacing


Fondae is the guardian of the second floor of the Tower of Gobble, the Dipping peaks. The realm is a forever winter wonderland of sweet animals, hot cheesy springs and a snow storm that never stops brewing. Just like Fondae, things seem sweet at first, but are deadly and scarier under the surface.

Voice

Eloquent and smart like a learned adult, the rebellious attitude of a teenager and young/shrill like a small child’s voice. 


Iris is a mysterious girl that isn’t from this world. She’s been swept up in a life of big responsibility as a high ranking member of a magical organization which has granted her many powers. This makes her a formidable foe to anyone she’s faced, but it’s also made her arrogant and overconfident as she takes on too much by herself. She’s come to the Tower of Gobble to isolate herself after an incident that’s attached a dangerous necromancer’s soul to her own, hoping to find a way to break the curse.

  • (Frustrated) “You worthless piece of junk! Get out of my sight.”

  • “How dare you. I’m not a kid and I don’t need your help! I don’t need anyone’s help! I’m perfectly capable of taking care of myself.”

  • (Somber) “Back when I did him in, it felt so easy… I should’ve known better… but I regret nothing. I’m going to make sure to finish the job this time.”

The soul that has adhered to Iris after he was murdered by her. After being dormant for years within her, he has recently awakened and is set on sabotaging Iris to get his way.
