BURNING EFFECT (a manhua by Tae Hyeon Park)
Project Overview
This is a fandub of the Korean shonen manhwa/webcomic Burning Effect by Tae-Hyun Park. This CCC project specifically is for Chapter 1 of the webcomic.
With that being said, I may ask you to voice in the following chapters if you can. If you refuse, that's okay! I'm mainly asking for consistency sake and it'll save me the trouble of recasting for the same characters when they appear again.
You can audition for multiple characters if you'd like, but if you're a lead character I would highly advise against auditioning for anything more than a minor character.
If you can, put your Discord, email, or any other place I could contact you with in your audition notes!

Burner is the main character in this webcomic. She's very strong, in both muscle, and in heart.
Initially I really wanted a specific voice for her, but I've decided that I really can't be too picky if I want to work on this.
I still want a rougher voice for her, and you're gonna have to be good at yelling.
Note: you can say the swear if you want it'll most likely get censored in the final product
[In reference to the administrator whom you hate and is very corrupt] (kinda annoyed but honest tone) Thanks to him Block 5 is the worst and hardest place to live... But at least the housing is cheap as f*** because of that.
[Response to a creepy fat dude (who's very rich and powerful) paying after working with you] (submissive, praiseful tone) THANK YOU SIR!!! PLEASE USE ME AGAIN NEXT TIME!!!
[Preparing to fight/throw a strong punch] (pissed/angry tone, be sure to start at a normal volume for the first sentence, and then crescendo into a full on shout in the second sentece) I may not be the administrator... BUT YOU GUYS JUST PISS ME OFF!!!!!!!
Great is one of the main antagonists in this comic. He loves to fight, and even more than that he loves to "execute." He tends to do whatever the hell he wants most of the time, but he still follows the laws for the most part, at least enough to where he gets to keep his job. If I had to assign an existing character voice to Great, it'd be Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia.
To be honest I do wanna voice this character myself, but I still want people to audition in case there is someone more fitting for the role.
[Talking down to someone, explaining their situation to them] (condescending, happy you get to kill) That doesn’t mean you get to steal from somebody else. You already know that?
Anyone that commits any crime… Is subject to immediate execution.
[You’ve just been woken up from a nap that you were trying to take] (tired, annoyed, kinda really pissed) Ughhhhhhhh… Fuck. They just won’t give me a chance to sleep. Damn criminal bastards. I’ll fucking slaughter you all.
NOTE: This last one I just want you to do two things:
1. I need a sort of excited laughter, the kind of "Finally a good opponent!" kind of excitement
2. I need you to scream, a long, a really pissed off scream.
This is a supporting character who's only present in the first few chapters. He is an old, fat, ugly, rich, perverted man who works for the government.
[Just got done fighting someone] (prideful, a little tired) Heh, heh… I just lucky pretty much!
I got to release some stress thanks to you! Let’s do this again next time.
(a more perverted tone if that makes sense) Yes, yes… I’ll make sure to again.
[Calling out to a woman you saw before, doing this with perverted and creepy intent] (happy, carefree, perverted tone) Hey~!! Ms. Voluptuous…!!!
[You get close to the woman, really close, too close] (deeper tone) You wanna get some deep action with me again? Looks like yours aren’t that bad. How about it miss? Aren’t you fed up with this street life…? I can end this kind of life for you. You never know…? If you can make me feel really happy… Just have fun with me for one night.
Minor character who only appears in this chapter, really only here for world building purposes.
[Explaining yourself to someone who doesn’t seem to understand to motive behind your action] (calm, neutral tone) It looks like you have some sort of grudge against us anteaters… But this is a world where you can’t make a living without committing some crimes.
[Analyzing, trying to figure something out here] (analytical, more talking to/for yourself) …Judging by your clothes you aren’t associated with the administrative Bureau… And this place is a blind spot for CCTVS, The Administrator won’t come here either.
[Going for the attack] (shouting, slightly excited) THEN THERE’S NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF!!!!
Piggy is Great's assistant. Pretty much a helping hand to him. I imagine they'd have a cute child-like voice since they're really small and cute. They appear in multiple chapters, but don't say much.
[Calling for someone] (cute voice) Mr. Greaaaaat (<3) A job came in~
Very minor character, only here for world building.
[You are, quite literally, begging for your life here] (scared, desperate) Pl---please… All I did was steal a few loaves of bread… My little brother is starving back at home…!!!
