BroadwayOnline's Second Production: Legally Blonde!
Project Overview
Hello everyone!
Hello! My name is James, or you can call me Syde, and I am one of the head producers on the Broadway Online team. If you havent heard of us, go check out our channel! Were currently working on our first production, Youre a Good Man, Charlie Brown! you can see some sneak peeks of the musical there.

So with the production of our first musical quickly coming to a close, its just about time to go ahead and start getting ready to work on the second one. And we are proud to say that our second production will be (drum roll)
LEGALLY BLONDE!
If you have never heard of it, heres a quick synopsis:
Based on the novel and the hit-movie of the same name, Legally Blonde: the Musical chronicles the journey of the famously perky Elle Woods, a fashion savvy, UCLA sorority girl who finds her life turned upside down when she is dumped by her boyfriend Warren. In an effort to prove to Warren that she is more than just some blonde sorority girl, she follows him to Harvard Law, where she struggles to fit in and do well. Ultimately, she defies expectations and manages to stay true to her delightfully pink personality.
We are currently holding open casting calls for some of the lead roles and ensemble members. We want this production to be the best it can be, and the only way of doing that is by going to YOU guys! Listed below are the roles we are currently seeking for, and open for auditions:
Various ensemble members of all different vocal ranges. These members will also be given small speaking roles and solos throughout the show.
WARNING: This show is rated PG-13 for profanity, references to sexual themes, and adult comedy. If you are not comfortable with any of this, then joining this show may not be the best idea.
We will be using the same process we used for, Youre a Good Man, Charlie Brown! we will have certain scenes and songs due at certain times, so that way everyone stays on track and we can get this musical out as soon as we can.
We do not expect this musical to be even close to done in one month. This entire process will take up at least four months, if not, more. We dont want this musical to take up your entire life, so we do stretch the deadlines. We are very flexible with busy lives and schedules, but please also be aware that you may need to be flexible with us. Well work around you. We are expecting a release date somewhere of March 2016.
How to audition
If you want to be considered for a role please make you have (or are capable of) the following:
- at least a decent quality microphone
- a quiet recording space
- enough recording time and dedication toward this project (we dont want you to record a lot at once, thats why we spread it over the course of 7-8 months)
- at least SOME stage experience
- being able to work with new and different people
- you MUST have a Skype, its the most efficient way we communicate
Get those auditions in ASAP! We want to official start production on this by the end of August, and we cant do that without a full cast.
Thank you guys so much for everything, and we hope to hear from you soon! Have a great day!
Snaps!

I feel so much better
I'll be there on Monday nine o'clock
and we will see who walks the walk
NO NO I CAN'T WAIT!
I will be there at eight
When they unlock the door
OH OH
I'll even dress in black at white
See I have not begun to fight
And you'll go OH much better and
OH much better
and soon all y'all know much better
I am so much better
I am so much better
I am so much better
than before!
