What Is “Breaking Bad Recrystallized”?

• Breaking Bad Recrystallized is a fan-made project that will be remaking, retelling, and reanimating the entirety of Episode 1 of Breaking Bad “Pilot”. This project is non-profit and is simply a fan-made project made for fun, (We will not be making money off this project) as well as a tribute to one of the greatest television dramas of all time. We are hoping to get at least 200+ content creators, animators, etc. from all backgrounds and experience levels to help out and to recreate a scene from the episode (15-20 seconds at most). 

• We will be recreating ALL sounds, music, as well as voice acting in post. 

What we are looking for:

• We are hoping to find people who want to participate in a project of this size, and those who are fans of previous fan-made films such as “Shrek Retold” and “SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Rehydrated”.

• Looking for animators who know a bit of animation skills and can create a scene anywhere from 5 seconds to 30 seconds. 

• (For live-action scenes) looking for people with experiences with filmmaking and can recreate a scene with originality. 

• PEOPLE OVER THE AGE OF 15 ONLY.

Individuals who have an understanding as to what the show “Breaking bad” is all about or have at least seen the first episode of the series. We are hoping that you are fans of the show as much as we are though!

The Rules For This Project:

• Recreate a scene of your choosing from the available scenes in the google drive file and document above (Please inform the team of what scene you are planning on doing before starting through DM on Twitter, Discord, or through email at [redacted]) 

• Inform us on what scene you are willing to do through email, or on the Discord server by DMing project director Sankobyte#9454 or to one of our hosts. (PLEASE send reference to your previous work you’ve done in the past so we know that you can do animation or film)

• Use the same audio from the original scene that you are remaking for reference (The team will be recreating sound effects, music, and voice acting in post)

• Once you are done with creating a scene and its 100% FINISHED, please send the final video AS A GOOGLE DRIVE LINK OR UNLISTED YOUTUBE VIDEO either through Discord (on server or send it to Sankobyte#9454) or through our Twitter https://twitter.com/BRecrystallized

• You CANNOT INCLUDE intense gore, dark humor, racism, homophobia, etc. 

• Please name the file/video you are sending titled: scene####_final_NAME.mp4 

Example: (Scene_145_final_Walterwhite.mp4)

• Keep the audio of the original episode scene that you are remaking in your final product, we will use it to remake music, sound effects and to voice act/dub over.

• HAVE FUN WITH THE PROJECT! Don’t be afraid to be creative with it. Throw in a couple of references to other episodes of the show in the backgrounds of scenes if you want to! Use your own creative and awesome art styles in your scenes to make the film more alive and more exciting! 

• DO NOT WATERMARK YOUR VIDEO! You will get a credit in the film, don’t worry!

For The Final Product (Animation) Make Sure that Its:

• 1920x1080 resolution

• Scenes must be rendered at 1080p

• 24 frames per second

When is the deadline for this project?

• At this moment we don’t have a deadline (check back here regularly for updates or on our twitter account) BUT we are hoping to release this film by 2023 for that will be the 15th anniversary of Breaking Bad. 

• We will also be keeping track with scenes/footage through the viewable google document above. It will be used as a check list for scenes already finished, scenes that are taken, and scenes that we still need creators/animators for.

                           IMPORTANT FOR PEOPLE WHO PICK THESE SCENES!

        THERE WILL BE CHANGE IN WORDS AND REWRITTEN SCRIPT 

              THAT WILL BE FIXED FOR CERTAIN SCENES THROUGH 

        SCRATCH AUDIO/REWRITING LINES. THOSE SCENES INCLUDE:

• SCENE 176

If you pick any of these scenes, @Sankobyte will send you the rewritten script AND the scratch audio for the scenes.
