Project Overview
Hi I am Paris! This is my first time, so I am still figuring things out. Any minor role will get line later on in the story. Some characters come in later on, so if you don't see them at first, they will be in future episodes. Anyone can audition, and auditioning for multiple roles is fine. If you want to know more about a certain character just private message me. It would be nice you had discord, but it's okay if you don't. Please be nice to everyone, and best of luck to all.
Born to be different is a voice acted gacha series about a girl named Layla Smith. It takes place 100 years in the future, here in order to reduce the population, people can only be born in the winter an fall months. Layla has a great life until she finds out that her mom is not he real mom and she was born in the summer. She sets off in a journey to find her mom. Since her friends abandon her, she travels alone until she meets Apollo and Emma. They help her on her journey, and become her new best friends.

Backstory- Layla Smith had a great life with great friends, and plenty of money. Everything was good until she learned that the girl she knew as her mom wasn't really her mother, and her best friend and boyfriend were secretly dating behind her back. Her whole life falls apart, so she sets off on a journey to locate her birth mom.

I wonder why I’m going to the office. What if I’m in trouble!? But I haven’t done anything bad in the past few days. Right? (nervous)

Backstory- Layla's ex, who left her for her best friend because Layla didn't buy him expensive gifts. Comes from poor family, and wants to be rich. He was a fake fried and didn't know what he was missing out on.
Traits- fake, gold-digger, mean, only kind to people he likes

Background- Used to be Layla's best friend until he abandoned her for Spencer. She is dating Spencer, and they both hate Layla. Wants money, and loves Spencer.
Traits- Fake, mean, gold-digger, thinks she deserves everything

Background- Lived on the streets until he found Layla. Layla and Emma's best friend. and Emma's brother. Loves all kinds of food, and likes to tease his friends.

Background- Apollo's sister, and best friend of Layla. was poor and didn't have a home until Layla took them on her journey. Is super nice and kind of shy.

Background- Layla's adoptive mom who has taken care of her since she was a baby. Successful business woman, and great mother. Really wants Layla to find her real mom, but still loves her very much. (will have some other lines as other characters)

Background- Shadow comes from a wealthy family, but doesn't really have any friends. She is the new girl at school and help Layla prepare for her journy.
Traits- nice, innocent, fun, loving.

Very small role, so will be cast as extra also, will have lines from many different characters, and still very much be a part of the team! If no one auditions, then some other member will have to fill this spot. As my drama teacher says "There are no small roles, just small actors." Have fun and do whatever you want.
