The main protagonist and lead guitarist of the Kessoku Band. An extreme introvert who has trouble with most social interactions. Having been inspired by her father, she learned how to play the guitar in her first year of middle school, thinking this would help her make friends. Despite becoming incredibly skilled at playing guitar and having a small fanbase online (under the alias "guitarhero"), she still has not been able to make friends as easily until she was dragged into playing with Kessoku Band. Since then, Hitori has gained a few friends and is learning to interact with other people. She is usually seen wearing a pink tracksuit, which she even wears over her school uniform. Her surname comes from Masafumi Gotoh. Her nickname Bocchi is a reference to hitoribocchi (一人ぼっち), a term for being alone. She plays a black Gibson Les Paul guitar. ---wikipedia
(inner, reflective) The girl who wonders, Would it be okay for me to join in? and so misses her chance, ending up all alone.
(inner, panicked) Not the flashbacks! Begone! Begone, filthy memories! I wish I could perform live... That... That could work!
(speaking) E-Excuse me! B-B-B.../niji line/ B-B-B-B-B.../niji line/ B-Before our next performance, I'm gonna get brave enough to say hello to my classmates!
The drummer and leader of the Kessoku Band. Her older sister, Seika, runs a live-in house where they often play. Nijika looks up to Seika, since they lost their mother at a young age and their father disappeared. She's very kind, cheerful, friendly, and outgoing, and she is the one holding the group together and helping Bocchi with her social anxiety the most. Her surname comes from Kiyoshi Ijichi. She plays a candy apple red Tama drum kit. --wikipedia
(talking, excited) Guitar! That's a guitar, right? Do you play?! Hello?
(inner,a bit wary) I might've made a mistake choosing her...
(speaking,in a shout/yell) There's no "ties" in this band at all!
"The singer and rhythm guitarist of Kessoku Band, who attends the same high school as Hitori. In contrast to Hitori, she is a cheerful, charismatic extrovert who has an active social life, to the point that her extroversion manifests as an overwhelming aura at times. She initially joined Kessoku Band to get closer to Ryo, whom she has a crush on, but fled after lying about her guitar-playing skills. With Bocchi's help, she becomes a decent guitar player in her own right and soon settles on playing secondary guitar and providing the band's main vocals. She refers to herself as Kita Kita due to her strong dislike of her given name, which causes her to have a Bocchi-like meltdown when discussing it. Her surname comes from Kensuke Kita. She plays a blue Gibson Rick Beato guitar." ---Wikipedia
(speaking in a whisper(?),surprised/like you just noticed something) Guitar? (speaking, confused) What was that sound?
(speaking,) Are you all right, Gotoh-san? You're not still worried about me, are you? I'm sorry. Like I said be...
(speaking) Hey, I'm not that ignorant! A bass has four strings, right? See? It's got the full six strings! (speaking,) It cost me two years' advance allowance from my dad, not to mention my New Year's money...
The aloof, quiet, and mischievous bassist of Kessoku Band has a cool demeanor and an androgynous appearance, to the point that she sometimes attracts other girls (including Kita) without intending to. She often spends what allowance she gets from her family on new music equipment, which leaves her with little money for anything else, to the point of eating weeds when she has no money for food. After falling out with her last band over creative differences, Ryo was convinced by Nijika to start a new one with her. Her surname comes from Takahiro Yamada. She plays a white Fender precision bass.--wikipedia
(speaking) Hitori... Hitoribocchi (/left as TL note/all alone)... How about Bocchi-chan?
(speaking) We were worried when we didn't hear from you. // I assumed you were dead, so I've been lighting incense for you every day.

Manager. Admit it. You liked them from the start. C'mon, you've been keeping a window open in the concert schedule for them. Why tease them like that? // Is this what they call a sister complex?
But the typhoon still came in the end. // Even the people who bought tickets might not come at this rate. I hope they're not too heartbroken by the small crowd. They practiced so hard for this. I feel bad for them.
She's got that pain-in-the-ass quality that college students have when they'd just learned something new. // Really? I think it's got personality.
Pretty good. Or so I'd like to say, but... Drums, you're too tense. Guitars, you're both looking down too much. Bass, you're too holed up in your own little world. Still... I think I know what kind of band you are now.
I wasn't teasing. I just didn't want to put them on until they were ready. But while they're still rough around the edges, I think they've got something. As her sister, I need to be hard on her to make sure her band grows.
Garbage humans. Apologize for your late repayment.
The bassist and vocalist of Sick Hack. An alcoholic who spends most of her money on booze, particularly boxes of Onikoroshi brand sake, calls her bass guitar "Shuten-dōji EX." She was formerly a junior of Seika in college. She finds kinship with Hitori after coming from a similarly reclusive childhood. Her surname comes from Margaret Hiroi.---wikipedia

Wait! Giving up after one day is a waste. You can sell it any time you want. But if you stick with it a little while longer, you might become worthy of that guitar someday. Oh, listen to me! Tryin' to sound all wise...
Blind drunk concerts are the best! Sorry, forgot the words! But hey, that's how concerts go sometimes! Don't be mad, you jerks! // Thank you, Shinjuku! I love you mother******s!
The drummer of Sick Hack.--wiki
Hey, Hiroi. // For the millionth time, don't be late.
I'm Shima, the drummer. A pleasure.
I'm sure our Hiroi's caused a lot of trouble for you. If this will in any way make up for it...
The guitarist of Sick Hack who originally came from England. She flew to Japan with the intention of attending a Comiket convention and become a part of an anime cover band. Her surname comes from Katzuya Shimizu.---wiki
Our rehearsal's already over!
I'm Eliza! I lived in England until I was eighteen. This is my third year in Japan. Let's be friends!
No. Actually, I came to Japan for Comiket! I really wanna be in an anisong cover band!
The manager of Folt.--wiki
Yeah?
Oh, gosh, look at all the cute little buddies you brought! I'm Ginjiro Yoshida, 37 years old! Punk rock's my genre of choice!
I'm adding 100,000 to your tab for wall repairs.
Mom! Sis is drowning! // Feels good to be over your cold, huh?
Guess you're a real pain in your own ass, Sis! Oh, and Mom says it's time to eat!
She's got blown-up ones too! She had this picture stuck up all over her room. She said she really liked it! But Mom told her to take them down because they were hurting her eyes. And we put those seals up when Sis was possessed before! That should just about cover it!
Hitori's mother.---wiki
These friends aren't just the imaginary kind? // She doesn't cause too much trouble with her retreats into her own little world, does she?
When she said she had friends coming, I assumed they were imaginary or hallucinations, but then, she did have that picture...
She's been so restless for days now. She said something about practicing decorating her room, put it all up, took it all down, and put it back up, over and over again.
Hitori's father, whose face is never shown. Hitori's first guitar was originally his.---wiki
You watching this? // What is it? // Sure! // Aha! At last, Hitori's getting into guitar too!
That one is soy sauce with garlic, and this one is shio koji. And there's lemon and shichimi spice to taste.
We know all about 'em! guitarhero, right? They've been racking up the views, so I monetized 'em in secret. How'd my girl get so good?! I figured you'd need the money eventually. And it's been amazing to see you work so hard and get better and better at the guitar. Right, dear?
(guitar) Allow me to explain! In a band, it's super important to be in sync with your fellow live performers! But Hitori has social anxiety and can't make eye contact, and she'll be inclined to rush ahead of the others! She might be an awesome solo player, but when in a band, she's sub-water-flea level, the worst there is!
(microphone) Living national treasure! // Congrats! Congrats! Congrats!
(Guitar m) Wait for me! //(Guitar f) You catch up! //(G.M.) The end of summer, huh? //(G.F.) Let's come again next year. //(Both) Tropical love forever!
2 - 3 people will be casted here.
Wow, look at that! // At what? // Aw, it's so cute, I've gotta laugh! // My day's immediately better! Right, Kita-chan? Kita-chan?
Who's this one for? // Karaoke was so much fun the other day! // Kita-chan! Kita-chan! Kita-chan!
Kita-chan's such a great singer. I heard she played guitar in a band before she quit. Wow! Now that's musical talent!
3 people will be casted here
And here, we'll stir-fry it a bit. There's a lot of vegetables, so you can probably make it quickly if you cut them in advance. You can probably do that in the morning, yeah. Lately I've gotten good at making so many dishes so quickly I thought I didn't need to know any more, but lately I'm learning once again how interesting cooking can be. Personally I like a lot of options with rice. Oh, of course. But you—
(instorm) Back in school, I was the guy who sat in the back of the classroom pretending to read. No friends. // Yeah. A band is a place where even introverts can shine.
(interviewer) And now you're part of a band that's extremely popular with young people! // I see! Now, here's "Trigger" by Instorms!
