UPDATE ON PROJECT
Storyboards r being finished
PLEASE READ TILL THE END :)
Hi, I'm The Mr Blue, and this is a lore video/short film
Basically, both were allies, both helped each other grow in profit and in the shipping industry
But when the economy crashed in 1930, both of them started to splinter and forced to become rivals to survive, and to win against all the other shipping lines, and importantly, each other. Against all odds, they saw their way out of this.
This is their story.

Originally, I was going to have my friend and I from the EL server voice this, but hes recently been really busy, plus, i dont really sound like Adam Azul, so this is why I'm putting it up here. The Narrator needs a new VA too, i just got one of the writers to voice it for the teaser

Extended to the 20th cause, still, no harry!
We are in desperate need for a Harrison Water! if you know anyone with a British accent, or anything of the sort! Please ask them!
This project is genuinely impossible without a Harry!
If you're looking to audition for him, please DM me for the script!
Founder of the Blue Sea Shipping line
20 Years old when the story first starts in the 1800s, he first speaks fast, like he is running out of time, but he slows down, as he gets older.
The Adam goes from, confident to an arrogant Adam as time tests him
He has a Classic New York accent, kind of transatlantic movie voice.
Super optimistic pre-1930
Businessman at heart.
(You can record now, these are final)
And just three years later, I, Adam Azul, kicked off the Blue Sea Shipping Line outta New York. Started small, just carrying mail around the East coast. Adam: From New York to San Francisco, we set up our Pacific branch thanks to the railroad. Blue Sea Shipping quickly spread across the islands. Gentlemen! The Pacific is now ours for the taking! We’re talking about faster routes and faster ships. Every voyage… canceled. Every route… blocked. How are we supposed to keep afloat if Europe’s falling apart? …Another cancellation? The war is over, the armistice has been signed. Send her through. I thought the oceans were safe..
YOU! You’ve been listening! Step forward! I can’t have this! Not now, not after the Cefigia! You’re FIRED!! Pack your things and leave. And. Don’t. Come. Back. (Arguing with Harrison) Harry, we need to innovate, or else other companies will seize our markets!
Barely any exports came in. We had to relocate back to the Atlantic. Only one of us could dominate the seas. Careful with the mail! Every government contract keeps this yard alive. Will you join The Blue Sea shipping line?
Founder of Emperor Lines
Around 20, when the story first starts in the 1800s, He is a slow, articulate speaker, he has a very British voice. He thinks very well before he speaks. Looks at things logically. He is obsessive over his ships. A bit too obsessive.
At first he is very quiet and composed, but he builds his confidence over time as he gains experience, which builds his character.
He is often overshadowed by the audacity of Adam. But he makes it through
(You can record now, these are final)
I’m Harrison Water. In 1856, I founded Emperor Lines right here in Plymouth. There were almost no ships running regular coastal routes throughout Europe so I started a small ferry service connecting the ports. It wasn't that glamorous, but it worked, and it gained people who trusted us. For us, we went all in with European trade, and eventually spread to the North and South Atlantic as well as all over the Mediterranean, building routes that connected ports, people, and power across multiple continents. Speed means nothing if tradition is forgotten. Cargo and passenger comfort come first… This is why Adam and I decided to ally with each other. Our luxury liners were impressed into service… troop ships, hospital ships and cargo ships… Every trip could be the last. We played it safe and survived. But even precautions couldn’t save everyone... (hiring the narrator) You were a sailor… Clerk… You worked for BSSL? You crossed the Atlantic for us? You start tomorrow.
(Arguing with Adam) We must keep.. Keep things as they are! This is not some sort of game. Other lines are doing the same. Those were my waters. (The Hesitant Harrison Hesitates) I… don't back down for my passengers… There was no room left. And so, the rivalry began.
Make the repairs. We can’t risk delays, bank loans only help if the ships are ready to sail. No, it's not over yet. We still have our Coastal Routes Or Emperor lines?
Old Rugged sailor, telling tall tales at a bar
It switches between old to young then back to old, for multiple scenes
Has rugged, but soft voice, it isn't scratchy.
When it switches to young narrator, his voice is much more nasal, or more in the back of his throat, but dont exaggerate it too much.
(You can record now, these are final)
(regular narrator)The two largest shipping lines… No.. no, not White Star Not Cunard… Different story. I'm talking about the Blue Sea Shipping line and the Emperor lines. Haven't heard of em? Well you might want to sit down for this. Let's start at the beginning
The Golden Age ended as fast as it had started. (younger narrator) I’m sorry, folks… This voyage has been canceled....(responding to adam)Naval advisories, sir. Too risky for passengers. But sir people are still- (in head) Damn it, he saw me). (talking to Adam, worried) I… I well- …Aye sir
(regular narrator) The 1920s were a sigh of relief, Both Lines seemed unstoppable… Every ship that left the yard meant fewer men sent home. Even with profits gone, the docks stayed open… for a while. But the seas were filled with new shipping lines. For a brief moment, both lines thrived. But this couldn't last forever.(younger narrator) What about our wages? (back to regular narrator) You have a choice though… As this is where you come in.
The Great depression hits. Panic!
