Project Overview

Hello all,

As the summer is approaching I wanted to consider the idea of posting skit anime content, going off of silly little ideas (like maid cafes from Blue Lock) and creating a massive Fan-Anime Abridgement skit series!

This will be unpaid, as if it for practise and building community and having fun!

If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask me!

Please record using ABC format, at least 2-3 takes with different approaches to the lines. Feel free to add some extra improv after the asked lines if you wish!

I have no need to match or sound like the original voice actors, have fun with it, but please try and pick a voice fitting to the characters personality and design.

  • First round of casting completed!

    As My deadline I set, I have cast some of my needed characters! As mentioned this is an ongoing project so more characters will appear shortly! Along with those I haven't quite decided on a fit for yet!

    I appreciate everyone who auditioned, I have been listening to all! So many of you are very talented and I'm very thankful you tried out! Even if you didn't get a character for the initial casting, I encourage you to try for others, you don't have a bad voice! You just might fit my image of someone else better!

  • TWO NEW CHARACTERS ADDED

    Added two new characters which will be fairly reoccurring. One I get some more auditions in I'll start casting and working on the first video. More characters will come with future content so keep your eyes peeled for more updates!

Isagi is easygoing and has a generally friendly, cheery personality, but his simple and innocent habits often get on the nerves of the people around him. He tends to avoid any childish squabbles among other Blue Lock competitors and tries to be a peacekeeper between his friends and rivals.

In accordance with his perception of himself as "the King," Baro has an imperious personality, seeing himself above others and maintaining an arrogant and selfish attitude. Initially, Baro perceived all others on the field as supporting roles, moving for the sake of his own goals, with himself being the main actor on the stage. He is obsessed with pursuing his own soccer but doesn't actually like it or have a passion for it. The need to face others who play soccer and to use his goals to drag them off the seat of the main actor and replace them motivates Baro. The pleasure obtained through this is something Baro believes is only for the strong. Baro is the kind of player who refuses to pass the ball, and whenever he loses possession, he endeavours to steal the ball back or steal a goal.

Chigiri is a confident and driven individual who loves surpassing others on the field. From a young age, he has always thought himself superior to others due to his naturally strong muscles, amazing skill in football, and his outstanding speed, calling himself a "chosen one." He looked down on those who got in his way or annoyed him but was mostly behaved as though stating facts. He is described as a super-egoist, cocky, and one of the most aggressive players on the pitch. Only when he tore his ACL did his sense of superiority start to crumble, and due to the Wanima Brothers bullying him, he became afraid of playing football for fear of losing "who he is." He was so fearful of this that he accepted the invitation to Blue Lock to find a reason to give up rather than continue to strive for his dream. But after retaking a hold of his ego and ambition, he has shown himself to be a persistent and stubborn force on the field.

Kunigami has a very moral personality. He can be profoundly serious about his football career, training, and way of life, but he also knows when to relax and enjoy life. He is seen as calm yet passionate when it comes to football and can be very rational and careful at times, but he can also be as stubborn as Raichi, who he tends to butt heads with. Kunigami will not let troublemakers and people who play unfair get their way when he is around; he almost comes off as a big brother. Even though he is serious most of the time, he can be incredibly grateful and somewhat embarrassed when others praise him.

Okarun

Okarun is a self-described socially awkward individual who has a consuming interest for the paranormal with his main focus being the existence of aliens and cryptids. This interest goes all the way back to his childhood where he tried to make contact with aliens in a desperate attempt to make friends, having grown up without a single one in his life due to constant bullying. As a result, Okarun developed an inferiority complex where he believes that he is incapable of fitting in with others or that people are better off not associating with him. Even after making friends with Momo Ayase, Okarun still seems to retain some low self-esteem. After Jiji stepped back into Momo's life, Okarun thought to himself that he could not compete with him when it came to being her friend based on his observation on how entertained Momo was being around him and had almost come close to ending his friendship with her as to not be a bother. According to Momo, Okarun's real problem with making friends was that he was too quick to make assumptions about others judging him, which resulted in him subconsciously keeping others at arm's length.

Outwardly, she appeared sweet, innocent, and somewhat air headed. However, internally, she was vain, arrogant, and insensitive. Her beauty became a tool for teasing her male classmates, and she looked down upon them for being easily charmed by her facade. She was also not above committing acts of cruelty when provoked by others, having anonymously spread a nasty rumor about Momo after the latter used her powers to drop a tub on her head as a form of retaliation for making fun of Okarun.

Yuji is a fair person who truly cares for not only his comrades but anyone he views as people with their own wills, despite how deep or shallow his connection to them is. He highly commends "the value of life," and to this end, he will ensure that others receive a "proper death". Because of this, he believes that it is morally unethical for him to take another human life, and tries to avoid any possibility of doing so unless as a last resort.
