An animated hood drama like no other.
In the heart of the city, Jaylan Blackwell, a 17-year-old with a secret, creates a drug that flips the streets upside down. What starts as a plan to escape poverty turns into a gritty rise to power, betrayal, and chaos. As Jaylan builds his own gang, clashes with rivals, and struggles with family, love, and morality, he learns that every choice has a cost.
With heavy themes of loyalty, redemption, and street survival, this animated series blends raw storytelling, emotional depth, and action-packed sequences. From wild shootouts to quiet moments of reflection, it’s a bold look at the duality of ambition and destruction.
Due to there being a show titled Bloodline already, we’ve changed the name of our series to Hustler’s Affair.
Jaylan Blackwell is a 17-year-old genius living in the heart of the hood, quietly plotting his rise to power. On the surface, he blends in—just another kid with a rough background and a low profile. But behind his calm demeanor is a sharp mind and a dangerous ambition. Jaylan isn’t loud or flashy, but he thinks three steps ahead, always calculating, always watching.
He’s the type who never brags, but always gets results. While others hustle with fists or guns, Jaylan uses his brain—creating a powerful drug that puts him at the center of a deadly game. Though he doesn’t look for trouble, trouble always finds him. He’s cool under pressure, with a natural leadership quality that draws people in, even if they don’t fully trust him.
Jaylan is conflicted—torn between the life he’s building in the streets and the light he sees in people like Simera, who brings out his true self. His loyalty runs deep, especially to his closest friends Ase and Moochie, but even they don’t always understand how far he’s willing to go. Over time, Jaylan becomes more ruthless, more hardened, but never loses the spark of who he used to be. His story is one of survival, power, and the cost of ambition in a world that forces you to grow up fast or get left behind.
“I ain’t tryna be the king of the block—I’m tryna own the whole board.”
“This hood taught me how to fight, but my mind? That’s what’s gonna save me.”
“Loyalty don’t mean ridin’ when it’s easy—it mean bleedin’ with me when it ain’t.”
Boog is a raw, intimidating force in the streets—a former top dog whose name still carries weight long after he fell from power. In his late teens to early twenties, Boog is Jaylan’s older brother, but the bond between them is fractured. Once respected as a cold-blooded leader with unshakable control over his gang, Boog is now a volatile figure driven by pride, betrayal, and revenge.
He’s muscular, scarred from past fights, and walks with the aura of someone who’s seen too much to fear anything. Boog doesn’t talk much unless it’s a threat—and when he does speak, people listen. His presence commands silence, and his temper ignites fast. What makes him even more dangerous is the fact that he took Jaylan’s pill—a move that gave him superhuman resilience and strength, turning an already feared gangster into something closer to a monster.
But underneath all that power and rage is a man haunted by loss—of status, of loyalty, and of the little brother who outsmarted him. Boog sees Jaylan not just as a threat, but as a betrayal of everything he built. In his eyes, Jaylan stole his crown. Boog wants it back, and he’ll burn everything down to get it.
“You ain’t built what I built, Jay. You just walked through the door I kicked open.”
Loyalty used to mean something. Now everybody switchin’ sides for a taste of power.
“I ain’t mad you took my spot—I’m mad you think you safe in it.”
Ase is the gritty, wise-beyond-his-years heart of Jaylan’s crew—a street-smart survivor who’s been through hell and came out colder, but not broken. In his late teens, Ase walks the line between being a mentor and a menace. He’s the type to light a blunt while giving life advice, blending street wisdom with a deep sense of loyalty and pain that he rarely lets show.
He’s rough around the edges—always high, always armed, and always ready to check someone if they cross the line. But beneath the smoke and the hard stares is a loyal soul who sees Jaylan as family. He was one of the first to take Jaylan seriously, even before the drug empire started rising. Where Moochie is wild and impulsive, Ase is calm, tactical, and a little emotionally distant. He’s not flashy, but when he speaks, it’s real. His silence says more than most people’s yelling.
Ase has demons—he’s lost people, seen things no one should at his age, and uses weed and violence to cope. But even in his darkness, he’s fiercely protective. To him, Jaylan is like a little brother who’s walking into a storm, and Ase feels responsible for making sure he doesn’t drown in it. He’s the crew’s backbone—scarred, quiet, deadly loyal, and always watching the streets with tired but sharp eyes.
Ain’t nothin’ real in this game but pain—everything else get tested.
“I don’t trust easy, but if I ride for you, I ride ‘til the wheels fall off.”
“I stay high so I don’t feel low—don’t mean I ain’t payin’ attention.”

You need to get them damn grades up. Your teacher emailed me and said you got 2 more missing assignments.
How do you think your Brother makes money?
The wild card of the crew. Moochie’s unpredictable, aggressive, and loyal to a fault. He’s the one that usually escalates violence but also brings dark humor and energy to the group.
“I don’t think twice—I act. That’s why they scared of me.”
. “We ain’t playin’ chess out here—we playin’ war.”
You talk loyalty—I live it. I’d die behind this gang, no questions asked.”
Don’t turn into someone I can’t love.
You turned the whole sanctuary into the Jaylan show.

The other key background homie. He rolls with Rico and adds personality to scenes with his laid-back or goofy vibe. Always in the cut, watching or helping out.
I ain’t ever seen Jaylan drink.
One of the two main background characters who are always around. Rico is funny, sharp, and occasionally spits bars during gang hangouts or rap battles.
If you thought those bars were tuff, let me cook you in Spanish!
One of the graffiti kids who crossed paths with Jaylan’s gang. Ends up getting killed by Moochie during a retaliation scene.
Please! I’ll do anything!
Someone say “tagging”? You already know I’m ready!
Kyler’s partner-in-crime. Forced to make a spray-painted tribute to Jaylan after being kidnapped. He’s jumped after and survives, likely scarred.
Please! Don’t hurt us. We didn’t mean anything.
This is an anonymous tip. We have the guy you’re looking for.
Don’t forget what they did to us.
A powerful hood figure who offers Jaylan an alliance. When Jaylan refuses, Mike fights him, but Jaylan kills him and his goons, solidifying his dominance.
Look who it is. Mr. “Run this city”.
