Astrid is a quiet girl living a very sheltered life. Although by being restricted from the outside world this has caused her to be hot-tempered, which is a bad combination with her level of power. Astrid has always been treated differently from the other vampires due to her special abilities and always envied those who had more freedom than she did, which was mostly everyone around her. Though Astrid accepted that she was different and grew to embrace her uniqueness through her appearance and attitude. However due to the events that were given in her life, they have given her a dark side that she is not afraid to use. She also has a manipulative side and with use her cunning ways, if the situation calls for it. In the series she is one of Leonardo’s progenies. She is one of the most important ones within the clan of progenies since her special abilities makes the clan more powerful and undefeatable. She is close friends with Shawn and trusts him as well as Leonardo.

They don’t scare me. None of them do. They are the ones who should be scared.
Melania is erratic, spiteful and vindictive. She is caring and supportive towards her brother, Darrick, and others. However when threatened, she is cruel, aggressive, and brutal and mean. Nevertheless despite her aggressive and brutal nature, she is also emotionally fragile. Melania fears being left alone, although she loves blindly and recklessly. Melania is intelligent and calculating, but she can also be extremely reckless and impulsive far more than her brother Darrick. Nonetheless behind all of these negative personality traits, Melania adores family, friends and the nature around her. She had to grow up fast as a kid due to the lack of authority around her. She didn’t her brother to take on all the responsibility for her and decided to work harder in becoming the independent, caring woman that she is. In the series she is Darrick’s sister and one of Leonardo’s progenies. Like Darrick, she also attends the high school to be closer to their rivals and also keep an eye on a few things and someone’s.

Shawn is a very attractive, positive, quirky and upbeat vampire. He always tries to see the good in people and tries to be a friend to everyone. He lives by a code of honour and values qualities such as compassion and virtue. Having learned to take care of Leonardo’s other progenies over the years and being naturally responsible, Shawn had developed into a very free-spirited, mature and independent person. His supernatural attributes aside, Shawn’s greatest asset is his sharp intellect. He is able to discern a great deal of whatever or whoever presented to him after only a few keen observations, and his penchant for strategies and forming contingencies way ahead of time easily rivals Leonardo', despite this, he can be outsmarted by distractions of his valued qualities. In the series Shawn is one of Leonardo’s progenies and takes on the responsibility of the other progenies. He is close friends with Astrid and Melania, though he does have the occasional fight with Darrick Sanders.

Darrick? ... He’s complicated. Defiant, ill-mannered, and a little temperamental.
Darrick is a young man who strives to be the best of the best. He is very active, brave but also likes to be surrounded by those who are close to him and friends. Though he does fail to learn through experiences, he is also loyal and determined through the obstacles he faces. He is outgoing, quite vain, and most definitely feels above the law. Yet there is a caring, very protective side to his younger sister, Melania. In the series he is one of Leonardo’s progenies who serves to his direct and indirect orders. Darrick is also the brother of Melania Sanders and friends with the other progenies sired from Leonardo Cross.

Carter is a vampire hunter. He's daring, mysterious, loyal and perhaps a little too rash. But there's more than meets the eye, not surprising for somebody with his position. He was brought up to hate vampires and kill them by any means necessary. That hatred towards them only grew more as his long-term girlfriend was murdered one night and sought for revenge. With the help of a vampire hunter clan of strangers he had to survive in a ruthless world. But with his wisdom and talents, he managed to survive everything and overpower anybody who's a hindrance. In the series he is the leader of the vampire hunter clan due to the position being passed on to him. He seeks for vengeance and tries to find the vampire who killed the love of his life.

Ella is a daring young girl who loves new experiences. She is people-oriented, friendly, craft when she needs to be, and loves being the centre of attention. Being younger than her brother Bradley Ward, she has always felt of being his shadow. She is determined into getting what she wants and will destroy anything that stands in her way, even taking someone’s’ life. She is brutal when she is bloodthirsty and has learned how to defend for herself. In the series she is Bradley’s long lost sister after being separated as kids. She is also under Lilith Gray’s power and will follow anything she says for her freedom.

Ailey is tactful, quiet and conceited for a vampire. Other than her best friend Dyani, Ailey haslived a lonely life. During her human years she grew up with a loving family where she lived without worry until she was about 8 years old, but at that point her life changed. She lost her siblings in a power outage and was abandoned by all. Alone, lost and forgotten she had to survive in a brutal world. But with her determination and perseverance, she managed to battle the elements and remain out of reach of danger. In the series Ailey and Dyani live in a little house together with the help of Dyani’s parents. Ailey hopes to be released of the haunting memories and finally find happiness she has never had.

(Sad.) I miss them. I wish I knew what happened to them. I looked everywhere for them.
Dyani is savvy, generous, eager and perhaps a little too arrogant. She is immature at times,impulsive and tends to speak before she thinks. However Dyani is also loving, caring, and very energetic. She is one of those people who will prove that she is willing to do anything to get what she wants and will protect those close to her. She is a highly skilled manipulator with an enticing charm, two things that are extremely dangerous on anyone. She met Ailey during her traveling and became very close with her. In the series Dyani and Ailey have settled in a quaint cosy house with the help of the funding from Dyani’s parents. With Ailey going to school, Dyani works at a quaint coffee shop where she meets very intriguing people. She grows close to them and makes sure that no one hurt her best friend. She is protective but she is a handful of fun.
