Between the Stars: animated passion project
Project Overview
This is a passion project created by a self taught animator. Cast members will be communicating over Discord and it is preferred you have an account there to coordinate with the rest of the team.
Between the Stars centers on Isra, a young disabled lgbt dragon in a world where her kind is being threatened by an invasive species by the name of Lyga. An injury at a young age rendered her unable to breathe fire, the main defense against the Lyga. Despite this, she still strives to join a hunt team to track down the creatures responsible for endangering her family and home. What she discovers puts the basis of dragon society for the last two hundred years at risk of falling apart.
The story and scripts are still being written as the plot develops.
This project is first and foremost run by a disabled creator with limited energy. I'm looking for help in creating this because I know it's unlikely I can do this on my own to the quality I want to. All team members must be at least 16 years of age.

Isra is young and used to being looked over. She's still hopeful about her future in spite of the fact that her mother believes said future is useless due to her not being able to do what an able bodied dragon can do.

Gets loud when angry in an attempt to get others to listen to her
Isra's ideal voice actor should be able to display a variety of emotions as well as the ability to do minor vocalizations such as gasps, scoffs etc.
(frustrated, confused) How else are we supposed to get into Coelus? Don't you want to?
(quiet, but determined) I decided that if I was going to die, I was going to do it after I got into Coelus.
(indignant) See! You need every dragon.
We require at least one video editor to help put scenes together including transitions between scenes and putting together credits.

Sound editors will need to be able to compile the voice actors reels and put them into one audio file. They should also be able to help find sounds such as wing beats, growls and the sound of wooshing fire.

Tirn is a supporting character. She was a lead hunter before her social standing fell due to her making more mistakes in hopes of getting revenge on the Lyga. She's cold, vindictive and proud of the work she does.
(angry, impatient) What do you suggest we do? Get in close and bite them?
(cold) I stepped down because it's time for new blood.
(condescending) You don't have fire, how are you supposed to defend yourself?
Realta is the oldest dragon alive. She's been exiled to some degree from her kind due to questioning their methods of war against the Lyga in the past. She believes in finding peace and communicating with one's enemies. Her voice should sound almost regal.
(defiant, angry) Come back when you've been in a real Lyga fight. Then tell me where you stand.
(soft, tired) Neither side truly wins.
(frustrated, unable to give more information) There are far more noble things than killing.
Clara is fundamentally a mother. Isra's mother. She's tense and tired of having to convince others that her child is worth something. She worries about Isra missing out on the fundamentals of being a dragon with her disabilities. She doesn't believe in the dragon heaven, Coelus.
( not willing to compromise) No, we are not talking about this.
(angry) I told you telling her those stories was a bad idea!
(huffy, quiet, concerned but rushed) Settle down before you hurt yourself.
We need background artists for the series. Artists should be able to make their pieces look cohesive with other artists on the team and be able to do close up shots, foreground details on separate layers and backgrounds that are able to be panned.

These animators will help with in betweening as well as lineart and coloring. They should be able to stick to the art style and storyboards.
